Heavenly Father, I am reminded often when brothers and sisters compliment me for these prayers. It could easily cause one to get prideful. This is my heart to yours, although I do pray that it teaches young believers how to pray and to show that there is no need to add fancy words. Also for those that have been saved a long while, to start praying on their own. I pray that each one who reads these prayers is a point in their faith walk with You where we all place our complete trust in You, for You are a faithful, trustworthy, and loving God. As we feed on Your faithfulness and live by Your righteousness we find ourselves delighting in Your presence. We delight in You when we sing praises, when we give ourselves in service to others, and most especially when we commune with You in prayer. May the desires of our heart bring delight to Yours as we conform ourselves to Your will and resist the “grass” that lures us to the other side of the fence, outside of Your safe boundaries. We want to dwell in the land You provide and enjoy safe pasture until we reach our future Promised Land where boundaries will not be required, for danger will not exist in heaven. We eagerly await that precious and glorious promotion! In the name of King Jesus we pray. Amen.

I think there IS a SLIGHT risk of pride, brother, but the Spirit reminds our hearts that the ONLY GOOD work that can be done can ONLY be accomplished by Him! And it doesn't matter how simple or how eloquent our words may be, to REACH any individual heart requires the Spirit of God - not human skills.

I think it was a wonderful prayer and not prideful in any way. Keep up the great job that you do each and every day all for the Glory of God.
