Heavenly Father, I praise You for this year as You opened my eyes to truths and guided me in the things to teach Your children. Lord, many terrible things have happened this year throughout the world, but You have not changed and you are and always will be in control. Yesterday, today, and forever You are the faithful, changeless One, Father. Your works in the past are testimony to Your majesty, power, and provision for our lives today. Your presence today steadies our walk as You lead us in the paths of righteousness while we forge ahead in 2016. Your future blessings are waiting to be unfolded in our lives as we faithfully yield to You our heart, our soul, and our mind. We look to You for everything we need for life and godliness in this present age as we await Your soon return. Come, Lord Jesus, come! In Jesus name was ask. Amen.

Heavenly Father, thank You for another day that You have made to serve you. I thank You for all the people that You bring to share my faith with, whether it be in person, or online. Lord, as we faithfully serve You it is not for our own fulfillment but for the fulfillment of the Great Commission that the Gospel message be delivered at home and abroad to the outermost parts of the earth. No matter our Christian service, whether great or small, when it is offered in Your name it brings reward, often visible here and now but at times unseen by the human eye. Help us to go forth in confidence and walk in obedience, no matter the fruit we see or don’t see, as we seek to glorify Your name. We can take heart within our spirit knowing that we will hear “the rest of the story” on the other side. Lord, I praise you and I ask this in Jesus name. Amen. Heavenly Father, I thank You for the finished work at the cross. What hope that gives those who truly are follower of Jesus. Lord, in Apostle Paul's writing to the church of Corinth, inspired by the Holy Spirit, he taught them about preaching of the Lordship of Christ. The suffering of true ministers with Christ.Lord, the light and power of Your glory now shines within our perishable containers, that is, in our weak and aging bodies. You plan it this way so that all can see that any glorious power seen in us is not our own but from You. In the midst of our ups and downs, we pray that our bodies constantly share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in us. That is why we never give up. Though our mortal bodies may be perishing, our spirits can be renewed daily. Though we suffer unending discomfort and troubles the time is short when compared to the time of eternity, and on the up-side they produce for us an immeasurably great glory that will last forever! As we grow older we seek to be stalwarts of the faith in our homes, churches and communities. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, I praise You for the ministry You have blessed my wife and I with. Lord, I thank You for the people You have following from all over the world hungry for more of You and You Word. Lord, even as we hunger and thirst for physical substance intensify our hunger and thirst for godly discernment, spiritual knowledge, and righteous living. You declare “Blessed are they who hunger and thirst after righteousness.” Only as we regularly nurture our spiritual appetite will we delve into the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God. Through the daily grind of life the inexhaustible truths revealed in Your Word brighten our outlook and make certain of our eternal hope. Jesus is the living bread for hungry souls so it is our prayer that He satisfies our hunger today. Thank You Jesus for being our Great High Priest. It is in Your name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, this world is changing ever so fast. I notice even in small towns in my home town in Maine have changed. Lord, I have always enjoyed living in an area where people helped people and I found it here, but it is changing. Lord, in this ever-changing society where transition beckons us daily, You are the Changeless One. As we hold tightly to the hope we profess we will not be swayed to the right nor to the left. And we hold to this hope because You are faithful to Your Word and to Your divine character. Though the heavens are silent at times and the world continues to slide into decadence and intolerance toward true Christians we remain faithful. We will hold on a little while longer and shine as lights in this dark universe so that we can influence as many as possible. As we hold unswervingly to the hope we profess we will not give up due to weariness, weakness, or a wayward heart, for Your unchanging truth makes the triumph sure. We joyfully have enlisted, led by Your grace divine. We are on our Lord’s side, Father, we are Thine. In Jesus name. Amen. Heavenly Father, I thank You for You gentleness with me and those that long to know more about You and walk in faith. Lord God, we pray that You will help us to grow in Your grace and knowledge, that we will continue to mature in our Christian walk. As You have taught me, we are to fight the good fight of faith. Scripture, repeatedly, indicates that spiritual maturity is a result of enduring trials of various kinds. In the midst of these trials Your soft prompting or guidance through Scripture, through other believers, and through the circumstances we face can easily be ignored when self gets in the way. Today we make every effort to add to our faith those characteristics that will sustain and grow us in our Christian walk. In doing so we will be effective and productive in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, during times of ease but even more so during times of difficulty. Keep us faithful and keep us growing, in the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, I am so thankful for a true book written to give me direction in my life and shows me the love that You have for me and all mankind. Lord, in that same book, You tell us how we can live our lives so that we can be saved and be promised eternal life with You. We believe in our hearts and PROFESS with our mouths that Jesus is Lord of ours souls. We are to believe in our hearts, in faith that He died and was risen on the third day and now sits at Your right side. That same book, was in the beginning with You and was You. Jesus. Lord, I’m so glad that the fruit of the Spirit; love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control are gifts from You given in abundance to Your children in every season of life. They satisfy the deepest needs of our hearts and shape our character traits into the nature of the Word, Christ. They have everlasting value that does not diminish with time but only heightens as we stay firmly grounded in You. We also thank You for the tender moments that both giver and receiver enjoy when meaningful gifts are exchanged. And we most especially thank You for the Gift of Your Son, Jesus, whose kingdom was not for just the generation in which He was born, but His kingdom is eternal. His gift of salvation has everlasting value and abiding joy for all who seek Him. Thank You Jesus. In Your Holy and precious name I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, I am blessed to see some of my brothers and sisters learning more about You and Your Kingdom. Lord my heart sings watching some surrender to You more of themselves and now letting the Holy Spirit guide them. You bless those who revere Your name and delight in Your commands. In the midst of inner turmoil or outer conflict I will not be shaken for my heart remains steadfast trusting in You and Your overall plan for my life. As I meditate on Your Word and stand firm in the midst of trials and testings I know that I will not be shaken. I want to remain firmly grounded as I overcome the daily obstacles that come my way. Help me to learn the valuable lessons along the way as I press on toward the goal for which You have called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Many prizes of earthly value are earned on this side, but the prize of greatest worth that offers eternal reward is heaven. I’m headed there and will leave all sorrow, sin, and sadness behind. That will be glory, be glory for me! In Jesus name I ask and thank. Amen. Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus, my Lord and my Savior. Lord, I am reminded this morning, You knew us long before we were born and chose us to live holy lives with the Spirit's help so that we would be obedient to Jesus Christ and are sprinkled with His blood. Lord, it is our lifelong desire to love You without reserve, to never be lacking in zeal, and to keep our spiritual fervor as we serve You. We devote ourselves to You only and want to do what is good and right in Your sight so that it may go well with us and we will bring You pleasure. We want to be careful that we do not forget You or fail to observe Your commands You have set forth in Your Word. Otherwise our hearts will grow proud and we will forget our first love. Keep us on the right path all the days of our life we pray in the name of Jesus. Amen. Heavenly Father, in this time many are out buying gifts for others. I think so many loose track of You and even Your followers. Some try to out gift each other, others feel separated, or distance themselves because they feel they have nothing to give. Father God, I find far too often our minds can be consumed with things that only money can buy which can also bring discontent for that which we already have. Help us to focus our hearts on that which has lasting value, that brings eternal dividends. As we lift our voice to You this day and turn our hearts toward Your unfailing love we find joy and satisfaction that will not be determined by the events or non-events of this day. When human love is fleeting or disappoints help us to look to Your unfailing love which satisfies. We want to listen carefully to You, eat what is good, and delight ourselves in Your abundance. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. |
