Heavenly Father, I pray for Your people this day and the days to come. Lord, the signs of the end are near. The darkness is quickly coming. Lord, I trust You for the days ahead and the new year that lies before us that You will supply needed wisdom and staying power for the challenges that are certain to come as they did for Moses, Daniel, Paul, for other believers throughout the centuries and for those in our present day. Jesus it is You that draws—and Christ crucified. While You lived we read of thousands miraculously fed, but after Your death we read of thousands added to the church through a single sermon. Jesus, You asked if when you return would You find any faith on earth? I pray so. Is there a greater proof of Your divine authority today? Lord I will not fear or dread the future as I look ahead through eyes of faith. The victory is on the horizon because of the conquering power of our soon coming King! In Your Glorious name I pray. Amen Amen.

Heavenly Father, we love You because You first loved us. We are grateful that Jesus is the High Priest who hears our prayers, knows of our troubles and intercedes on our behalf. Jesus, thank You for being my friend. Lord, thank You for the friends You have put in my life when I am in need of the compassion of a caring friend; one who will pray, listen, lend support, and interject thoughts or experiences that help us to bear our troublesome burdens. They do not sit in judgment, but instead they respond to our need, whether it’s emotional, spiritual or physical. Thank you for caring friends in our communities and especially the few very close friends online, who bear with us, lift us up out of despair, and help us discover solutions that we, by ourselves, cannot find. Help me to be that kind of friend, in the Name of Jesus. Amen. Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus and I praise You this morning. Lord, You invite to partake in Your salvation plan provided through Christ. All the world’s wealth and pleasure cannot satisfy the soul, but Your eternal salvation brings true life and peace. It is man’s wisdom, therefore, to seek Christ while He may be found, forsaking sin and dislodging all preconceived notions contrary to Your truth, for Your Word says You will then abundantly pardon. Jesus, we thank You for being our true leader and commander to show man what to do and enable him to do it. Through You, the door was opened to the Gentile nations to enter into God’s eternal salvation. We lift Your name in praise and we ask this prayer in Your name. Amen Heavenly Father, I pray that the church will get back to the way You designed it to be. Lord that the scope of all preaching is to point to Jesus Christ as the One who made atonement and was resurrected for the justification of all who will believe. Jesus must be the subject of all preaching, and our business is to bring people to acquaintance with Him. Lord I pray that there be a burning desire in the the hearts of all teachers from this day forward to follow Your will. In the name of Jesus I pray and thank. Amen Heavenly Father, when we seek You and get to know You, we find that there is something inside of us waiting to be released. We find there is a deeper work within our soul which cannot be accomplished by mere physical exercise. Just as we train our bodies to submit to a rigorous routine of endurance, abstinence, and sacrifice, we must apply the same training tools to bring our spirits into submission to Your will for our lives. We must train ourselves to be godly. Though physical training is of value in this life, godliness has value for all things, and holds promise not only for the present life but also the life to come. Help us to pursue this noble task in Jesus name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, one thing I think is hard for those that become part of Your family, is to admit that we were sinners. Many go through life thinking that because they are good people, they do good things and that is their key to heaven. Lord, there is nothing good in me, and there is nothing in You but good. I choose to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ who died for my sins so that I can receive forgiveness. I confess my sins, for they are many. How thankful I am that Your blood covers all my sins, for Your Word indicates that even the foulest of sinners who truly believes that moment from Jesus a pardon receives. I have determined that I will walk with the Lord and follow His Word all the days of my life. I pray this in faith and with a thankful heart in the name of Jesus Christ my Lord and my Savior. Amen.
Heavenly Father, my heart is thankful for Your great love towards us. Jesus, to think that You would leave Your throne to come dwell with sinners like me to save us. We read that Your birth took place in a smelly stable which does not seem fitting for the worlds new born King. Then to be moved around because of those that wanted You, the Savior of the world dead. Jesus, I praise You. Though the majority rejected You, including the religious leaders, You still taught us by Your perfect example. Lord Jesus, even today the majority reject You, yet You still reign in true believers hearts. Jesus, help me to bring Your message to the ends of the earth. Lord, help me to teach Your salvation plan to even those that outwardly profess there is no god. Your Word, Lord shows me that You wish no man perish and also that with You all things are possible. In the name of Jesus, the Name above all names I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, I read from scripture that fear that we experience, has never come from you. In fact, You give us just the opposite Spirit. Lord, there are so many experiences or circumstances in life that instill fear in our hearts. But we don’t have to cringe in fear because You are with us. Your protection assures us that things will turn out for good in the end, whether in this life or the life to come. Though Jesus’ followers were devastated when He hung limp on the cross You had a powerful plan all along and it turned out for the good of all, even those responsible for His death. Not only did Jesus rise from the dead, but He is alive forevermore, preparing a place for each of us who remain faithful. Father, we seek You because we know that You hear us and will deliver us from our unhealthy fears. We thank You for it in advance, through the precious name of Jesus. Amen. Heavenly Father, You are my rock; in You will I trust. You are my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my Savior. You save me from violence and my own destruction. Lord, it is easy to waste our time and energy in futile or wishful thinking. Instead I want to fix my thoughts upon the living hope I have in Jesus Christ my Lord. I anchor my soul in the bedrock of Your Holy Word so that when other viewpoints counter the truths presented in Your Word my anchor remains firm. When difficulties appear insurmountable remind me that I serve an extraordinary God who does not rely on natural solutions but works in the supernatural realm to meet each one of my needs. I am not tossed to and fro by wishful thinking but I am firmly grounded in the living hope of our resurrected Savior and it is in His name that I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, for 8 weeks now we have been studying from the book of Colossians and we have seen that Apostle Paul makes it great importance to declare that Jesus is risen from the dead and is alive forevermore. So it is also of first importance some 2000 years later for those of us who hold dear the sacred Scriptures to joyfully declare the miraculous news that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures. Jesus is the living One; He was dead but is alive forevermore! Praise God!! Lord help us not to just remember these truths, but that they are sealed in our hearts and that we share these gospel truths with the world. We thank You Jesus for Your finished work and ask this prayer in Your name. Amen. |
