Heavenly Father, thank You for seeing us through another month. Lord, I thank You for the so many that I have had conversations with through so many platforms. Christian platforms and others. I especially am thankful for so many brothers and sisters that I have met on the Google platform and now that will close. Father God, praise be to You, our Father of compassion and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from You. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Him. Even in the midst of affliction our hope is steadfast since we know that, as we are partakers of suffering, we also will partake of Your consolation. We thank You that we can find peace and assurance through Your loving consolation as we look to You for strength and calmness of spirit. In the precocious name of Jesus I pray. Amen. For those on Google+, as you know this platform is closing on April 2. With the thousands of brothers and sisters that I following and the over 3100 that have been following me. I want to say thank you for all your support. I also want to encourage those who want find the prayer, to save out website to you favorites. If you chose to share any of the prayers to any other platforms, the only thing I ask is that the link be shared to J and L Ministries site. Brothers and sisters, we love you and God bless you, Jim and Leanna https://jandlministries.weebly.com/

Heavenly Father, You desire that we live holy and godly lives as we eagerly await the reappearing of Your Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Nothing here on earth compares with the anticipation we feel about that glorious day. We want to speed Christ’s coming by sharing the gospel message to those near and far. Help us not to be timid or apathetic, but keep us enthused and eager to share the message of salvation so that our family, neighbors, co-workers and acquaintances will also be prepared for the glorious day of Christ’s return when we will receive our eternal promotion to enter into the glories of heaven. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, our view of heaven is most distant when we live only for here and now; especially when all is going well and prosperity is at our doorstep. But when our bodies are hurting and we have symptoms, or when troubles overwhelm us, it is then that our hearts especially long for the distant city with a firm foundation whose Maker and Builder is the Lord of Creation. It is in this place of focus that we best commune with You and find strength and renewed hope to deal with present challenges. Keep our hearts attuned to our future goal of hearing You say, “Well done good and faithful servant! Enter into the joys of heaven.” Thank You Jesus and in Your name I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, help us to give good gifts to our children just as You give good gifts to us; gifts of love, acceptance, forgiveness, support; provisions of food and clothing, shelter and mobility, teaching them right from wrong by instruction and example, and reinforcing consequence that will help shape our children into caring, giving adults who live responsible lives; children that will care for us in our needy years even as we cared for them when they were helpless. Help us to give them personal attention and contribute to their feelings of worth and value. You are our supreme model for giving good gifts to our children, even as You give gifts to us that last for a lifetime and many non-material gifts of eternal worth that will be transferrable from earth to heaven. Help us to do the same with our children. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, it is in our weaknesses that Your power is made most visible in our lives. The “thorn in our flesh” is representative of those trials common to followers of Christ. We call out for deliverance and yet endure the discomfort and affliction as a true soldier of the faith, all the while being “joyful in hope, patient in affliction and faithful in prayer.”* Because of the blood of Christ we can overcome the opposition and triumph in our faith to the glory of God the Father in whose name we praise. Amen. Heavenly Father, as I have been watching a live stream on a pair of eagles and watching how they guard their eggs with all they, I have am reminded of Your love for those who trust You. Within a week, the first eaglet should hatch and knowing how this pair cares for their young, Father, like a nurturing eagle, You cover us with Your feathers so that we find refuge under Your protective wings. As we live in daily communion with You we are protected from the snare of the enemy. Therefore we need not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day. Because we have made the Lord Most High our dwelling You have commanded the angels to guard us in all our ways. You will be with us in trouble, You will deliver us and honor us. What greater blessing could we want than to know we are under Your protective, loving care. Thank You, Father, for being all that we need here and now, and providing for our hereafter. In Jesus name I pray. Amen. Liberty and Freedom Hanover Pa. If anyone wants to follow these two eagles lifestream, here is the link. https://hdontap.com/index.php/video/stream/bald-eagle-live-cam
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the inspiration of Your Holy Spirit. May Your Words be impressed upon our hearts as we give regular attention to them through reading and memorizing the Scriptures. We don’t want a casual attitude about Your Holy Word, but rather we want to be earnest students of Your Word genuinely contending for the faith. Help us not to be absent minded when approaching the gospel truths but rather be wholly present that we might partake of all that You have to teach and show us in Your Word. May we never weary of the basics of the gospel or lose the awe and wonder of seeing a life that is changed when redemption takes place. We want to hunger and thirst after righteousness and never lose sight of the old, old story that will be our theme throughout eternity. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, as ambassadors of Your heavenly Kingdom, we want to be spiritually sensitive to those whose difficulties seem overwhelming. Some of our brothers and sisters are weighed down with troubling circumstances that might overtake them if not for those of us who take them by the arm and pull them up out of the quicksand of discouragement that ultimately sinks them even deeper to despair. Help me to do my part to strengthen my brother or sister in their faith journey. Reveal to me ways that I can show genuine concern for unbelievers, through caring words and loving deeds, for they need to see the love of Christ represented in human form. In the blessed name of Jesus, I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, we know that Jesus of Nazareth was the Son of man ordained by You for a miraculous birth, along with many signs and wonders that You performed through Him. He was handed over to wicked men and gruesomely crucified Him by the nails that bore Him to the cross. This was done by Your set purpose and in Your foreknowledge. But Father God, You raised Him from the dead, freeing Him from the permanence of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on Him. And now He is exalted to Your right hand making intercession for us. “What wondrous love is this that caused the Lord of bliss to bear the dreadful curse for my soul!” Thank You Jesus for loving us so much that You laid Your life down so that I and every believer could have life after out we take out last breath on earth. I pray this in Your name. Amen Heavenly Father, we want to run the Christian race wholeheartedly testifying to the gospel of Your grace all the days of our life. We choose to fight the good fight, finish the race, and keep the faith. It’s not the one who runs the swiftest, nor the one who runs for a day, but the one who endures to the end who will be saved. We anxiously await the rapturous moment when we cross the finish line from mortality into immortality, from death unto life eternal, when we will hear Your wonderful commendation, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Thank You Jesus for saving me and guiding me on this journey and it's in Your name I pray. Amen. |
