Heavenly Father, thank you for Your Word. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Lord, as adults we tend to complicate matters and seek to understand that which is incomprehensible. We cannot fully grasp the Kingdom of God here on earth or that You would give Your only Son to die for us, and that by doing so, we can receive forgiveness of sins. These amazing truths are hard to grasp and often keep adults from receiving by faith all that You have for us. But Jesus gives us the example of children whose learning is very basic. They don’t yet know the why and wherefores of life at such an early age. But rather than Jesus instructing the children to first become like the disciples, as we would expect, He instructs the disciples to become like children. Father, help us to examine the characteristics of a child that bring You pleasure, that open our heart’s door for closer communion with You. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I lift up all those that struggle with their faith walk with You. Lord I know that there are times we in the process of being molded and fashioned into Your likeness balk at change. Some even get rebellious. Thank You Lord for being patient. Thank You for placing people in my life who model godly character and who courageously speak words of direction and correction when I most need it. Help us Lord to graciously receive these messengers and promptly respond to the message they bring when it is supported with Scriptural words and spoken from a wise and loving heart. In Jesus’ name I thank and I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, I praise You this morning. You are good and worthy to be praised. Lord Jesus, You are the Great Shepherd of our souls and we being like sheep praise You for Your protection and guidance. Lord, we look to You for guidance, wisdom, and protection. Just as a good shepherd would lay down his life to save his sheep You laid down Your life to save us from our sins. There is none in all the world who can save us for all eternity except You so we are fully indebted to You for giving Your all that we might experience abundant life here, now, and forevermore. Worthy is the Lamb of God. Thank You Jesus and in You name I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, You are a faithful Father and we can trust in You. Lord, when we spend time in prayer and in your Word your truths are revealed to us. Thank You Jesus. Father God, in Your compassion You crush our sins under Your feet and throw them in the depths of the ocean, to be remembered no more. And yet there are times when we have great difficulty letting go of past sins to the extent of dwelling on them and getting weighed down by guilt and self-condemnation. Help us to let go of that which You have forgiven. If we are to remember anything of our past, let it be that which brings glory to You as we share with others that which You have forgiven and delivered us from. May the contrast of our former lives not bring up condemnation which You have freed us from, but instead provide witness that there is nothing beyond Your merciful pardon. To God be the glory through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. Heavenly Father, I praise You for constantly guiding me. You are the perfect Father. Lord, as I go through my day I have situations that come up that I struggle with. I know how I want to react in the flesh, but you nudge me to go about some things in a different manner. Lord, shape my thinking into that which will bring about growth and conformity to Your will. Teach me to think not in accord with my own human instincts but with the truth as it is revealed in Your Word. It will keep me from lusting after deadly forbidden fruit if I plant myself into that which is holy and righteous. As the world continues to slide into decadence help me to delve deeper into Your Word and faithfully commune with You so that my heart does not grow cold or indifferent. Nor will I be drawn into every kind of impurity with a continual lust for more. I want to stand firm to the end so that I am saved from this world of sin and influence others to live a godly life. Through Christ’s strength and my prayerful resolve I will remain faithful. In Jesus name. Amen. Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of my Savior, Jesus The anointed One. Lord, I thank You for my circle of Christian friends. Lord, I thank You that in times of needing of anything, You know who it is that will help in those times and they come at the right moment. Lord, there are so many that go through life trying to fill that void they feel in their lives. So often, we search in all the the wrong places, when what we need is right there in front of us. Your Love. An obituary is a bird’s eye accounting of what they valued in life and often reveals what their children value as a result. We want to leave a legacy of love, the purest and highest kind of love, that can only be found in the Person of Jesus Christ, who laid down His life that we might be forgiven and enjoy eternal life. We want to remain steadfast in our Christian convictions so that we pass on that which makes a hopeful, positive, and eternal difference in one’s journey here below and up above. Thank You Lord, for giving me that love. Thank You that because of that love, I have Your joy in my heart. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, thank You for Your never ending love towards us and guiding us in Your ways. In the name of Jesus, my Lord and my Savoir I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, I thank You for the messages You have given me the past few weeks on fighting the good fight of faith. Lord, we are grateful for the boundaries You place throughout Scripture that are solely for our protection. Often it’s to protect us from the devil who lurks waiting for the opportunity to pounce and other times it’s to protect us from our own vain vices that can be equally destructive. Wise us up so that we don’t resent or rebel against that which is for our own eternal good. Rather help us to see that You are an all-wise, all-knowing God who looks after us and sets boundaries so that we don’t lose sight of our spiritual heritage here on earth which will pave the way for our eternal inheritance in heaven. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, thank You for providing everything we need to go about doing Your business. Lord, help us be s people whose hearts and minds are One with Yours. Through our diligent study and application of Your Living Word our thoughts and attitudes are formed. Keep us faithful to the Truth of Your knowledge. We stand in firm opposition to the world’s substitutes; the acceptance, condoning, and celebration of anything You describe as sin. The world may dress it up, commercialize it, make it appealing, and cover up the disastrous results it brings on the individual, his or her family and society at large. Help us to read, retain, and regard Your knowledge as our pattern for life. In the name of Jesus. Amen. Heavenly Father, I marvel at the revelation You have gave to the apostle John. As he was permitted to see worship circles in heaven he gave us a glimpse of the unending praise that surrounds Your throne. Though we continue to travail here on earth, we already join our spirits with those of every tribe, tongue and nation, who will be standing around the throne declaring with one voice, “Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing.” Thank You Jesus and in Your name we pray. Amen |
