Heavenly Father, none of us knows the hour nor manner in which we will leave this life. Deaths result from accidents, disease and natural disasters for both the godly and ungodly. But there is sweet assurance for those of us who remain when our loved ones who die are believers. It's a fact that we will all one day perish so we want to be prepared for that great and final event by repenting of our sins and living a life that properly prepares us for the final judgment. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. For those that would like to hear today's devotion, you can do that by going to our ministry YouTube channel. https://youtu.be/D3B1Zp6fB0E

Heavenly Father, we consider the Scriptures that warn us of attitudes, desires, and behaviors that lead us on a road to destruction. We want to be faithful to the righteous path that we began the day we surrendered our lives to You. May we seek You wholeheartedly so that our desires, our actions, and our affections align us with the straight and narrow path You walked before us. May we use our resources for Your glory and not our own. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. While priests performed their religious duties again and again under the old covenant in accordance to the law, they offered sacrifices which can never take away sins. But when You sent Jesus to be our High Priest, He offered for all time one sacrifice for our sins, and then sat down at Your right hand, now making intercession on our behalf. How incredibly grateful I am to be among the whosoevers that have found forgiveness through Jesus' redemptive blood and thereby receive everlasting life. It is by Jesus' name I pray. Amen. Sometimes mistaken words can get us into serious trouble and other times they can produce a rumble of laughter. Help us to spread joy, laugh with others and also laugh at ourselves, for a joyful heart is like good medicine. A daily dose of it lightens our step and distracts us from the troublesome world in which we live and the daily burdens that can otherwise weigh us down. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen. You have given us opportunity to make a positive difference in this degenerate world. May we, by exercising restraint bring light into this darkened, sin-indulged world. May the fruit of the spirit; love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, be evident in our lives so that these attitudes bring about good deeds which glorify You, Father. Others will look at our lives and see beyond our human frailties to recognize the Spirit of God at work in our lives providing example and stimulus to those seeking an alternative to the coarsening darkness of this troubled world. Sharpen our conscience so that we become more and more like Christ, for we pray this in His name. Amen. Rather may we hate what is evil and cling to what is good. May we be devoted to one another in brotherly love and honor one another above ourselves. May we never be lacking in zeal, but keep our spiritual fervor, serving the Lord, being joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer. In Jesus name. Amen. No problem is too difficult for You since Your power is supernatural, unlimited in strength and scope. There is no request we bring to You that is too perplexing or hard for You to answer, no need too great for You to supply, no misdirected passion too strong for You to restrain; no temptation too powerful for You to deliver us from, and no misery too deep for You to lift us from, for You are the Strength of our lives. When we rest on these truths we are confident and trusting that there is no enemy force of which we should be afraid. We come boldly before Your throne of grace with Jesus as our Advocate. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

Your Word declares that the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. I want to serve you this day and through my words and actions express to a disbelieving world that I do believe! I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God for everyone who believes. Help me to be merciful to those who doubt, snatching them out of the fire as You save them through Your atoning blood. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen. We're grateful for hugs of love, affection, and friendship; for those who embraced us following a personal disappointment, a time of loss, a long separation, or a time of celebration and rejoicing. Sometimes words fall short or are inadequate for a situation, so You gave us the ability to show that we really do care by warmly embracing one who is in need of a loving physical touch. Prompt us to be mindful of these good people and to be willing to make the first move. In the name of Jesus, we pray and thank. Amen. May we as parents realize the impact of imparting Scriptural teaching by instruction as well as example from the time of their conception. We're grateful for our family, other Christian brothers and sisters, our church and Christian ministries that also inspire our children to live for You. We cannot force our children to walk in Your ways, but we can certainly show them the way to life everlasting and equip them with the Scriptural knowledge that will make them wise for salvation. May this always be our highest priority. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
