Heavenly Father, as the giver of all good gifts, You gave the greatest gift possible when You sent Jesus to die in my place. Because of this most wondrous act of sacrificial love I have been forgiven of my sins. I want to live for You all the days of my life and take as many to heaven with me as I can. Help me to share freely and generously the marvelous message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all who will listen. In the name of Jesus Christ, my loving Lord and Savior, I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, when I lean on my own understanding, I fall prey to thinking in the natural and limit the work of the supernatural. But when I trust You with all my heart, I leave no room for second guessing. Today I want to acknowledge Your presence in every area of my life…family, work, relationships, health, intellect and every other area of my life. You will bring to pass the plans You have for me as I wholeheartedly trust You for all that concerns me and those I love. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen. I will not boast in my wealth or might nor in my wisdom's fleeting light, but I will boast in knowing Christ at the cross who fully paid my ransom. Because of this I rejoice in my Redeemer, life's greatest treasure. He's the Wellspring of my soul so I will trust in Him, and no other. My soul is satisfied in Him alone. Therefore I freshly commit in this new year of 2021 to "the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace" thereby glorifying You with my body, for that is my ultimate net worth that I fully surrender to You. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen. Our lives are not meaningless nor are they insignificant for we acknowledge that You have brought purpose to our lives for our present journey and that purpose will extend through all eternity. On this earth we may never fully experience and understand Your purpose, but we do seek to trust and obey You all the while, keeping that which we have committed to You until that day. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Without it we would walk in darkness and be led astray. We acknowledge there are many distractions that can get us off course. We want to give attention to Your Word, respect its message, and follow its instruction so that we will not drift from the truth. We want to be just like the people in Jerusalem who listened carefully, gave reverence, and responded in repentance to the reading of the Scripture in Nehemiah’s time. We thank You Lord and we pray in the name of Jesus. Amen. How unsearchable are Your judgments and unfathomable Your ways! For who has known Your mind, Lord, or who has been Your counselor? Or who has ever given to You, Father, that You should repay him? For from You and through You and to You are all things. It is to You, our loving and eternal Father, that we give praise and glory forever. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. All that we have need of and presently rely on is abundance from Your generous Hand. You are worthy of our trust and deserving of our fully surrendered life. From the cradle to the cross Jesus is Lord of Heaven and Lord of earth. We celebrate the birth of Your Son, Jesus, our Savior and Lord, and we give thanks for all that it means to us. Amen. Jesus, thank You for clothing Yourself in flesh and making Your home among Your own creation. You are both God and Man, completely divine and completely human. Rather than coming to us only through written precepts and the revelation of Your Word, You came to us through a Person’s life, something people could tangibly see, physically grasp and personally identify with. You revealed the divine nature and perfect will of the Father through the Person of Jesus Christ. Grace flows through You in those whose lives are spiritually transformed and the lives of those who experience miracles and healings. Thank You for emptying Yourself and taking the nature of a servant as You walked in truth and obedience, knowing that it would lead to death on the cross. We praise You, Jesus, for You are exalted to the highest place. We believe with joy-filled hearts that You became flesh and lived among us, and You are indeed full of grace and truth. Glory to God in the highest! Amen. May we walk faithfully and earnestly in the light of Christ so that deeds of darkness are exposed wherever we go. May those still walking in darkness be drawn to Your light through Your Holy Spirit and by Your followers, in what we say, the songs we sing, by our countenance and by the things we do as we represent You in the home, the workplace and wherever we go. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen. Heavenly Father, even as You spoke through the angel to the shepherds when Christ was born you still speak today. Much of the Christmas celebration is like noisy gongs and clanging symbols because it lacks the main story of the Christ Child. As we contemplate the Christmas story young Mary is a prime example of one whose yielded heart withstood the ridicule and awkwardness of her special role in the miraculous conception and birth of the Savior of the world. Help us to tune out the noisy gongs and join Mary, the mother of Jesus, who submitted her whole heart to God when she responded to the angelic messenger, "Be it unto me according to Your Word." Through her obedience we welcomed Jesus, our Saviour and Redeemer into the world. Thank you for sending Him, Father, and we thank You, Jesus, for coming. Amen.
