Heavenly Father, we read in Your Word that without faith we cannot please You. I also read where we are not to waver in our faith. I read where Jesus many times said that people were made whole, made clean and delivered having to deal with their faith Father, just as Paul is giving thanks to You for the Colossian believers regarding their faithful walk with Jesus and their love for all Your people. Lord God, Leanna and I give You thanks for our brothers and sisters following this ministry all over this world that because of their diligence to stay in Your Word, in prayer and separating themselves from the sinful nature of this dark and dying world live their lives faithfully. We give thanks to You for the gospel that is bearing fruit in their lives and growing throughout the whole world. How good it is to know that there will always be a remnant who do not bow to Baal, but remain faithful, fruitful, and fervent in their walk with You. May I and everyone that stands in agreement with this prayer be always counted among them. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, as we go through our journey here on earth, it is so easy to get distracted by people and things that try to get us off the chosen path You have for us. For me, I converse with people in my community and on the phone that are defiantly not believers. The Scriptures asks, “Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?” That’s such an important thought-provoking question since we know there are only two paths we must choose from which gives room for two contrasting views. We can enter through the narrow gate which is small and the way is narrow that leads to life. Few look for this path so they can easily miss this narrow entrance to eternal life. Sadly, the vast majority enter the gate that is wide and the way that is broad that leads to destruction. We must be in alliance with the one we walk alongside lest we clash with conflicting viewpoints and contrasting goals. Grant us discernment, discipline, and direction when choosing our life partner, business associate or any other person in which we must unite in making decisions. For those who are presently unequally yoked grant them grace to live carefully, watching their lives and doctrine closely, so that they will positively influence their partner, co-worker or family member to consider the claims of the Gospel which may ultimately lead them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. It’s in His name that we pray, Amen. Heavenly Father, it's a jungle out there, but with You as our guide, we can make it through. We want Your counsel to be our guide as we face the enemy’s assault on our personal holiness. As Hollywood and much of the world continues to trivialize and ridicule Biblical Christianity the horrendous consequences are evident as generations of people ignore Your principles established from the beginning of time. We desire to live holy lives which are a direct consequence of following Your statutes. We reject those personalities and influences that confuse our thinking and gradually erode our commitment to purity of mind, body, and spirit. We ask for discernment to recognize worldliness and discipline to embrace that which leads to holiness. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, I am thankful for the sense of smell. Depending on what I am smelling it can bring about a pleasant response where I linger taking in more and more of the pleasing scent. Today, I pray that the spiritual fruit from my life would emit such an aroma. First, I want to offer the sweet smelling sacrifice of a life fully surrendered to You. Secondly, I pray that those whom I see today would find my words and/or actions to be a very uplifting part of their day. May I bring encouragement through pleasant conversation and by taking a personal interest in others. Keep my mind and words from sinking in the cesspool of lies, jealousy, gossip, immorality and hatred. Instead I want to spread the aroma of the living Christ that others might seek Him. You will bring about divine appointments throughout my day if I make the most of every opportunity. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus our Lord and Savior. Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations. Our dwelling place is not found in the kingdom of this world but in Your spiritual kingdom where our life saving rescue took place as Jesus died on the cross on our behalf. Because of His sacrificial death You have delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of Your beloved Son in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of our sins. There is no greater or more lasting rescue that changes the direction of our lives here on earth and also the direction of our eternal destiny in the life hereafter. We will thank and praise You for our life transforming rescue for all of eternity. Amen. Heavenly Father, we are thankful for Your great compassion and enduring patience; that You do not treat us as our sins deserve but with never-ending mercy. From everlasting to everlasting Your love is with those who walk with You, who keep Your covenant and obey Your precepts. Help us to live with an outlook of appreciation rather than entitlement. In Jesus’ Name, Amen. Heavenly Father, wakening up this day and drawing my first conscious breath I acknowledge Your hand of blessing in our lives. Even as the rays of sunlight dissipate the vast darkness we’re reminded of Your victorious power that melts the clouds of despair replacing them with renewed hope. Enable us to look beyond the unwelcome, trivial frustrations of our day that lead to whining and complaining, instead of being joyful and thankful. We, with absolute intention, choose to rejoice and be glad as the blessings unfold throughout this day amidst the bothersome and undesirable circumstances of our present day. We must keep calm and carry on until hindsight reveals to us how You were orchestrating events in our life to help build character, patience, understanding, and growth in our faith walk. It’s all part of Your overall plan for our lives so we want our “hearts to unfold like flowers before You opening to the sun above, as we join the mighty chorus…ever singing, marching onward, victors in the midst of strife” for we serve a victorious Savoir. Thank You Lord for Your love for us and we pray in Jesus name. Amen. Heavenly Father, because there are ones around the globe that have followed this part of J and L Ministries and because there are a few that share this prayer on a daily basis, I know that there are ones world wide that are and have been standing in agreement with me. In prayer we lift up our brothers and sisters from around the globe, asking You, Father, to fill them with the knowledge of Your will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And we pray this in order that they may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please You in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in Your knowledge, being strengthened with all power according to Your glorious might so that they may have great endurance and patience. We joyfully give thanks to You, our Father, who has qualified them to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. Thank You, Father, that You have rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of Your Son whom You love, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. In His name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father You have been our dwelling place throughout all generations. From everlasting to everlasting You are God. A thousand years in Your sight is like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night. You sweep men away in the sleep of death; they are like the new grass of the morning though in the morning it springs up new, by evening it is dry and withered. The length of our days is seventy years– or eighty, if we have the strength; they quickly pass, and we fly away. Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days. Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us, for as many years as we have seen trouble. May Your deeds be shown to Your servants, your splendor to their children. May Your favor rest upon us as You establish the work of our hands through Christ Jesus our Lord in whose name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, I will not fear for You have redeemed me and called me by name. You know when I pass through the waters and You have promised to be with me; when I cross through the rivers they will not sweep over me. When I walk through the fire I will not be burned for You walk with me. Though trials may engulf me and tempt me to be paralyzed by fear, I can overcome the enemy of fear just as Jesus overcame the power of death. May the resurrected power of Jesus subside my fears and doubts while building my faith and trust in the Holy One of Israel. In Jesus name I pray. Amen. |
