Heavenly Father, we learn much about You and our Savior in the book of Hebrews.Thank You Lord that You sustain all things by Your powerful Word and through Your sovereign control. The natural order of Your creation is the means by which we live day after day, year after year. Just as there are variables in the seasons there are variables in our lives as we walk this pilgrimage on earth. There are bright, clear days in which we feel on top of the world, and there are dark, cold days when we feel our world has come to a halt. But we are encouraged as we look to Your powerful Word that reminds us You are our loving God who sustains us in the variables of our daily circumstances. Because of that we can trust You even in the extremes of life. We thank You in the powerful name of Jesus who is Your exact representation on earth and in Hid name I pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father I humbly come to You in the name of Jesus, my Lord and my Savior. Lord, when I see Deuteronomy 6:6, I am reminded of what Colossians 1:13 and 14 has to say. Lord, the commandments that You give are to be impressed upon our hearts. When our acts of obedience come from the heart love motivates us to heed Your Word and align our desires with Your own. As we love You with all our heart and with all our soul and with all our strength we will never forget our miraculous deliverance. For You delivered us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of Your beloved Son in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. May we ever be mindful and walk in humility as we realize Your great work in our lives! Thank You Lord and I pray this prayer in the name of Jesus Who sacrificed His life for me. Amen. Heavenly Father, Your never ending love amazes me and I marvel at Your creation and our power.Lord I kneel before You today, in whom all heaven and earth derives its name and pray that out of Your glorious riches we, as the body of Christ, will be strengthened with power through Your Spirit in our inner being. Lord I pray that You unite us in spirit and strengthen us in purpose as we walk together upholding, defending, and proclaiming the Gospel message of Jesus Christ who saves to the uttermost. We pray for our brothers and sisters who are undergoing persecution because of their uncompromising belief. Remind us often, since we can’t see them, so that we support them in prayer and thought. When we all get to heaven what a time of rejoicing that will be when we see Jesus, when we unite with our brothers and sisters from every generation, from every tribe and nation, from every color and race, and from every tongue and dialect. It will be an experience beyond description so fill us with anticipation for later and anchor us through Jesus Christ for now as we await that blessed day of eternal hope. We pray in the precious name of Jesus. Amen. Heavenly Father, as I read from the book of Esther this morning, I see many things that we as believers can learn from for our own journey with You. Thank You Jesus, being the Word of God. Lord, I find in certain situations I am fearful when I am called upon to take a stand for righteousness. When You compel me like you did Esther to do or say something that’s not within my comfort zone I become fearful of the outcome which prevents me from stepping out in faith and following through with an obedient heart. Would You remind me that there is great blessing when I follow Your leading. In my heart take me back to Biblical models of those who stood without compromise and remained faithful no matter the consequence. Help me not to fear the outcome, for that is in Your hands. Thank You for entrusting me to be a part of your grand purpose. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, I pray that this year all the saints in this country have a burning desire to reach out to those that are less fortunate and be a blessings to them. Lord, as we spend time eating and spending time with family and friends, that we remember those that are serving to protect this nation that can't be home with loved ones. Lord, also that all followers of Jesus lift our voices of praise from grateful hearts as we are so thankful to all You have done and continue do do in our lives. Abba Father, as we sing songs of praise and adoration to You, our blessed King. Whether in seasons of prosperity or in seasons of want we find Your grace sufficient to meet each one of our needs. Lord, You guide us, protect us, and You provide for us as we journey here below. Every good and perfect gift comes from Your Hand. Thank You, faithful Father! In the precious name of Jesus, my Lord and my Savior I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, teach us about Your love. I don't think any of us can truly appreciate just how deep and powerful Your love is. You have drawn us with an everlasting love; You have drawn us with your loving kindness. Lord, let this Thanksgiving season be a time of first, being thankful for all You are and do in our lives. Let this be a time where Your chosen reach out to neighbors and strangers and demonstrate Your love. Let the true believer show this world that You are real and that You are all Your Words says, by our speech and actions and because we have Your Spirit within us. Praise Jesus! As for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord. In Jesus name I praise and thank. Amen. Heavenly Father, as we should everyday be in thanksgiving, I pray that this week, many will be especially thankful for all You do and continue to do in those that have put their trust in You. Lord, we thank You for sending Jesus who came as God in the flesh, revealing to us Your character and personhood. You created all things and sustain them by Your powerful hand. That includes us, Your human creation. All that You created You also test. The plant life has tests of stress and endurance in the harsh elements and we, Your human creation, must endure the tests of endurance common to the flesh; whether it is relational, physical, spiritual, emotional or financial. We will endure these tests and turn them into a testimony as we rely on You, for “You will accomplish what concerns me; for You are my sustainer”. You existed before anything else and You hold all creation together. In the precious name of my Savior (Jesus). Amen. Heavenly Father, as we spend time in Your Word, we can see many similarities to this time that we live in right now. I can see we are very similar to Daniel’s time, where people mock and ridicule the one and only true God of the universe. So many worship music gods, technology gods, beauty gods, media gods, body building gods, intellectual gods and countless others. They render You powerless, but we who have exchanged a life enslaved to sin for a life that is forgiven and wholly saved know that they have not had a personal encounter with a holy God. Only You can turn beauty into ashes, our weapons into plowshares, our selfishness into selflessness. Only You can take a meaningless life and establish purpose in our hearts. Only You can replace the fear in our hearts with an eternal hope. Because of Your infinite love and care for us I want to honor You in all that I do, for I love You with all my heart. In Jesus name. Amen. Heavenly Father, I am a new creation in You. Christ was “made sin”—not a sinner, but sin—a sin-offering or sacrifice. As He Who knew no sin was made sin for us, so we who have no righteousness of our own are made the righteousness of You Father God in Him. Thank You Jesus. Lord, conform my thinking into that which will bring about growth and change. Teach me to think not in accord with my own human instincts but with the truth as it is revealed in Your Word. You will keep me from lusting after deadly forbidden fruit if I plant myself into that which is holy and righteous. As the world continues to slide into decadence help me to delve deeper into Your Word and faithfully commune with You so that my heart does not grow cold, indifferent or rebellious. I want to stand firm to the end so that I am saved from a world of sin. In Jesus’ name and in His strength I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, thank You that we can come to You when storms come sneaking in. We can see through many passages in Your Word, where You were right there in the midst of many tempests that different ones were going through lending helping hand. Lord, help us to “Ponder anew what the Almighty can do” as we trust You to do the impossible. Help us not to ponder our problems, but instead to pray for Your will to be done in our lives and those we pray for. You assure us throughout the Scriptures both by teaching and example that “Nothing is impossible with God.” We want to fully trust You to do the impossible, all for Your glory. In the precious name of Jesus we pray. Amen. |
