Heavenly Father, You are aware of everything that happens on earth. When we lay down and when we wake up. You know what will come out of our mouths before we speak Lord, You reward the obedient but the disobedient will always deal with resulting consequences, now or later. Obedience brings about blessing and disobedience brings about dishonor. I want to honor You with my life, for there is nothing hidden from Your eyes. Help me to set the standards of truth and honesty by Your Holy Word, not the standards of this world that are customizing “truth” to suit their ever-changing whims. When I’m confronted with my sin help me to have the fortitude and courage to deal with it. May I not cover it up, change its true meaning, blame others, procrastinate or deceive myself. Thank You for granting complete forgiveness. I pray in Jesus name. Amen.

Heavenly Father, You are my God and You are exalted over all the nations and Your glory fills the heavens. You are great and greatly to be praised. Lord, for centuries people have made and bow down to other gods. I have had people ask me where You are when I have gone through hard times, but I know that You promise me You will never leave me nor forsake me There is no other One who sits enthroned in the heavens and yet whose Spirit hears the very sigh of my heart. You hear my prayer before it is even whispered on my lips. You know my need even before I am aware of it and yet Your greatness never keeps me at a distance. Instead You invite me to approach the throne of grace and have audience with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, both in seasons of rejoicing and in times of need. Thank You, Almighty One who exists from eternity to eternity. It is through Jesus that we approach You in prayer. Amen. Heavenly Father, only a true loving Creator who cared about the children He created would design bodies with parts that are so important in daily living and to us give pleasure. Lord, we thank You for our five senses of seeing, tasting, touching, hearing, and smelling that are essential to our lives as we gather and disseminate information from our sensory glands. As we interact with others today we want to release the aroma of Christ as the Holy Spirit makes us adequate for the task before us. We choose to focus on what You can do through us, not on what we do in our own strength. May others look beyond our physical inadequacies as they breathe in the spiritual fragrance of Christ, as His sweet presence is released through our endeavors. It is in Jesus’ name that we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, Jesus said: "If you obey My commandments, you will live in My love. I have obeyed My Father's commandments, and in that way I live in His love. I have told you this so that you will be as joyful as I am, and your joy will be complete. Love each other as I have loved you. This is what I'm commanding you to do." Later He said: Go you into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Father God, You have entrusted the gospel message to all who have chosen to believe. Some are called to preach it in a public forum, others share it one on one day in and day out, through our lifestyle and through our words. We give careful attention to the Scriptures so that we can explain to others the simple yet mysterious Gospel message. We want to testify solemnly of the gospel of the grace of God so that we can be faithful ambassadors for Christ, in whose name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, You have called on us, Your children, to be reliable in giving a solid witness of our faith in You. We are to live godly lives so that we faithfully model that which we also teach to our children and all whom we are privileged to influence. We realize that there is no neutral position; we either live for You or we live for the world. Fix our eyes on Jesus as we journey below so that we fulfill the calling to be faithful and influence others for the kingdom of God, whether in life or in death. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, I lift up Your church today and ask that You help us as we share our testimony and Your message with the world around us. We find so many who are like Agrippa; uninterested, unpersuaded, and often times hardened. Help us to persevere and not give up or grow discouraged. We pray that you would soften the hearts of those we seek to reach for the Gospel. Just like You did for Lydia, the seller of purple, who responded to Paul’s message along with all her household, we pray for open hearts to receive our message of hope and salvation. In Jesus’ name. Amen. Heavenly Father, we come together today to lift up praises to You for all You do in our lives. Lord, I am so thankful for those that have been following this ministry and for those that support us by prayer. In thanksgiving we lift our voices of praise from grateful hearts, Father, as we sing songs of praise and adoration to You, our blessed King. Whether in seasons of prosperity or in seasons of want we find Your grace sufficient to meet each one of our needs. You guide us, protect us, and You provide for us as we journey here below. Every good and perfect gift comes from Your hand. Thank You, faithful Father! In Jesus name. Amen. Happy Thanksgiving, friends, J and L Ministries Jim and Leanna Kinson Heavenly Father, my heart aches that I could not reach a young woman for You, but I also know that it is not by mistake but by Your design that we experience the detours of life that give us perspective in a way that nothing else does. Though we see others who travail in difficulty, it is particularly difficult when we ourselves experience tough terrain that we seek to understand Your purpose for the trial we are enduring. Help us to persevere in the midst of uncertainty and unfamiliar landscape. May we find joy in the simple pleasures we overlooked when life’s journey was routine and uninterrupted by the surprise bends in the road or difficult detours that bring about delay or a change of plans. May the testing of our faith bring about maturity and give us a new perspective that makes us stronger in our faith and more effective in our witness to those around us. May they see a grateful spirit in us even as we undergo difficulty so that we glorify Your name rather magnify our problems. I ask and thank in Jesus name. Amen. Heavenly Father, Creator of all, Friend of sinners, Ruler of the nations, Mighty God, Prince of Peace, All Knowing, Sovereign Lord, King...Perfect Love. I am gratefully thankful for all you bless me with everyday. You have poured out Your abundance on us from the heavenly realms in all manner of blessings. You forgave our sins and broke the chains that once enslaved. You brought fulfillment in our lives as You gave us a sense of purpose. You provided for us a roadmap through the Holy Scriptures that leads ultimately to heaven. You’ve promised us eternal life. We experience peace that surpasses human understanding and the list is unending. For this and so much more we are eternally grateful. We deserve none of Your blessings and yet we receive them all, not only in this life but we lay hold of future blessings in the life to come. Prompt us to focus on our blessings since they far outweigh our troubles. Even when shadows darken the view of our blessings may they visibly surface as the indwelling Holy Spirit brings them to our remembrance. May it be our heart’s desire to refresh others whom we meet from day to day in life’s journey as we walk in the power of Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, You are my light and my salvation. Who is there to fear? You are my life's fortress. Who is there to be afraid of? You created me with a set purpose in mind. As You search my heart, may You find it to be pure, undivided, and wholly true to You. I’m grateful for Your promise to guide and keep me secure no matter where I dwell. Father, what blessed assurance it brings to know that I can never move beyond Your compassionate care or loving favor. Not only do You grant me every breath on earth, but You will also help me conquer death. Because of these glorious provisions, I have blessed assurance now and blessed hope for my eternal future! I ask this prayer in the name of Jesus, my Lord and my Savior. Amen. |
