Heavenly Father, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff they comfort me. Thank You Lord. Lord, though there are many ups and downs, highs and lows one thing we hope others observe about our life is that we are continually serving our Lord and Savior no matter what. May we never sell out to appease others or due to fear regarding the consequences of our public stand for You. More important than what is spoken about us on this side are the words we long to hear You say in the hereafter, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant. Enter into the joys of heaven…” How we look forward to that future blessed event, through the mercy of Jesus our Lord in whose name we pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I am so thankful for the Holy Spirit Who guides me, corrects me and comforts me. Lord, last night working on Sundays sermon, I was reminded by the words of Paul that we are to remain firm when the deluge of deceitful tactics from the enemy comes against us – through the media, books, false prophets and even well-meaning but confused individuals. Your Word is the stabilizing and authoritative manual for all that we need for life and godliness. You promise to bring maturity into our Christian walk as we firmly plant ourselves into the solid teaching of Your Holy Word. We apply Your teaching so that we will attain to the fullness of Your Son, Jesus Christ, the chief cornerstone. Help us to be wise, studied, and firmly planted in Christ so that we will not be like children tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine. We pray this in Jesus name. Amen. Heavenly Father, I thank You that I can trust in You for all things. Through this journey You have have been taking me on, my eyes have been opened to many things and the same for my spiritual ears. I praise You Jesus. Lord, You provide the answers to life’s questions about everything that concerns us. In answer to life’s greatest question, “What must I do to inherit eternal life?” You sent Your Son to be our Savior who would die for our sins so that we might be forgiven and receive an abundant life here on earth and an eternal life in heaven. We are learning to trust in You with all our hearts and not rely on our own understanding. We want to acknowledge You in all areas of our life so that we will seek You above all and the counsel in Your Holy Word for the answers to life’s questions. Jesus truly is the answer for the world today, for He is the Way, the Truth and the Life and in His name we ask and praise. Amen. Heavenly Father, there is no one like You Lord. You are my redeemer, the maker of all things. You stretch out the heavens and the earth by Yourself. Lord, You formed me and knew me before I was in my mothers womb. It is hard to understand that, but because I trust in You, I believe. Lord, it is in You that we live and move and have our being. As You breathed life into us You also determined the parents who would bring us into this world, where we would live, the language we would speak, and the culture that would help shape our way of life as we know it. In Your great mercy You have chosen to show Your power through us who believe so that Your name may be declared in all the earth. By Your grace we will be faithful in carrying out this tremendous mission You have entrusted to those who believe. We pray this in Jesus name. Amen. Heavenly Father, century after century there have been groups that come against Your people and Your Word. Lord, we can follow through history showing that after Your judgment fell upon the Israelites during the fall of Jerusalem, there was then and we continue to hear those who mock messengers sent from You, those who despise the words of Scripture and those who scoff at biblical prophecy. So much prophecy is filled with warnings for us so that we won’t end up destitute and hopeless. Your Words are enlightenment to our heart, and encouragement to our spirit as we appropriate the life-saving message of salvation through Christ Jesus our Lord in whose name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, I hardly ever watch, read or listen to any news posts before I add this prayer in the morning, as I want my mind and heart to be focused on You alone. Lord, You know my heart and You know the circumstance where I saw the title of a possible threat to the United States and for a time, my focus was taken away from where You had me this morning. Father, I ask You to not only open our eyes to that which is around us, but we ask You to open the eyes of our hearts so that we might envision that which is true and that which is false on a spiritual level. When we hide Your Word in our hearts we more quickly discern that which is masqueraded as good, but its source is from one of Satan’s servants “masquerading as a servant of righteousness.” Because Your Spirit reigns in our hearts and knowledge from Scripture fills our minds, we affirm that which is Scriptural and reject that which is heresy. May we ever be vigilant in attaining Scriptural knowledge and fervent in prayer as we encounter the gods of this age. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen. Heavenly Father, You warn us through Your Word that the thief comes to kill, steal and destroy. Jesus told us, we power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt us. Praise the name of Jesus. Lord, You want us to be on the look out for our enemy’s activity and beware of his approach through the daily temptations that come our way. The narrative might have changed a great deal had the disciples been on their guard in the Garden of Gethsemane after Jesus warned them to pray rather than sleep through the night. We find ourselves much like them because we often ignore the warnings or we are wearied by them thinking we’ve heard them all our lives. Yet Your warnings and promises in Scripture are like a watch tower for the soul. You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Your words are truth and all Your promises will be fulfilled in time. Your name is a strong tower and we who are righteous run to it and find safety through Christ Jesus our Lord in whose name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, as for me and my house, we will serve You Lord help us in every area of our lives. Holy Spirit, thank You for guiding us and I pray that each person that reads this stands firm with me. Praise God. Lord, we offer up to You our lives as living sacrifices. May we be holy and pleasing to You. In whatever form of work we do may we do so with diligence as unto the Lord. We thank you for the variety of giftings and work skills You give us in regard to vocational work and how we are blessed and provided for. We honor you as we have a proper view toward work. Thank You Jesus and in Your name we give thanks and ask. Amen.
Heavenly Father, we are nothing without You. Our very existence is only because of You. Lord, You have shown the greatest example of what it is to be rich toward us in countless ways, but most especially when You gave Your only Son to be our Savior. You extended to us full forgiveness when we could do nothing to earn it. May we likewise be rich toward You giving ourselves fully in love, obedience, in our resources, and in loving others as we love ourselves. Rather than seeking first a comfortable and secure life here on earth, help us to remember that will come to us in heaven. Instead help us to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness and all that is needed will be given to us by Your gracious hand. We thank You for it in Jesus name. Amen. Heavenly Father, You are my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my mountain where I seek refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and I praise You. Lord, it is not Your will that any should perish but that all would come to repentance. Yet You don’t force us to follow Your prescribed plan, but give us a free will to come willingly, lovingly, obediently, and gratefully as we come to realize that there is none like You. No one else could touch our hearts like You do, grant us peace that is eternal and prepare a home for us to last for all eternity. We don’t presume upon Your grace, but we do receive it by faith with thanksgiving. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. |
