Heavenly Father, since we were born on earth it is all we’ve known since birth, far too often we consider this earth our permanent dwelling. But the prophet Isaiah gives us a true perspective of our transient life when he writes, “The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the Word of the Lord endures forever.” Help us to lift our eyes to the heavens and place our affections on the eternal truths of Your Word. We, as Your redeemed children, desire to be faithful and stay the course as we walk this pilgrim pathway watching expectantly and longing for Your soon return. In Jesus name we ask and pray. Amen.

Brother Jim, ever since 2006. My heart has been set more Heaven bound. I have my Spiritual sites more in going home with the Lord. My hunger is more intense in the last couple of years. I am getting more sick and tired of this world system. Dana, doesn't like to hear that from me, but, I can't help that. She told me one day, "Your the best dad that I ever head." I told her very lovely, "If you get your life right before the Lord. I could be your father for ever." I assure you those words made her stop and think.
