Heavenly Father, You give strength to the weary and power to the weak, for You are all-powerful, almighty God. The power of Your might is seen in the person of Jesus, our Saviour and Messiah. When we read of Christ’s healings, His casting out demons, withstanding Satan’s temptations during His 40 day fasting in the wilderness, His bearing the weight of the world’s sin as He hung dying on the cross – all these and so much more point to how mighty in power our Lord is. Truly our Lord Jesus is Almighty God whom we praise and adore. In His name we pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, there are many things that concern us; our family, our spiritual and physical health, our work, our country, our church, the world conditions, and on and on the list goes. As we travel here below we have much to think about, much to decide upon, and questions arise where it can be very difficult to find the right answer. At times it’s hard to do the right thing, being uncertain at times as to what the right thing is to do. We know the best place to search is the Scriptures since that is where we find the greatest counsel, and then we seek in prayer the Wonderful Counselor who knows our needs even before we voice them. Sometimes He shows us directly through the counsel in His word, sometimes He guides us with His small still voice, and other times He leads us through godly counsel when we just can’t seem to get the answer we need or we don’t want to hear the truth such as David experienced regarding his sin with Bathsheba. You sent Nathan the prophet with a somber message that got David’s attention since he had shut out Your Spirit’s prompting and walked in defiance to the laws set forth in Scripture. Thank You, Father, for sending Jesus, our Wonderful Counselor, who loves and cares for us more than any human could. He will guide us into His paths of righteousness all the days of our life as we cling to Him. Thank You Jesus and in Your name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, we’re grateful for the wonder and amazement of the gift of salvation given to us through the incarnation of Your Son, Jesus. The manner of His birth was wonderful; His humility, His miracles, His self-denial, His sacrificial death, His resurrection and ascension all are amazingly wonderful amidst His many wonderful character traits. The greatest and most wonderful accomplishment is that though He was sinless He took my sins upon Himself that I might have forgiveness through His death and resurrection. Truly You are wonderful, merciful and a loving Father. Thank You Jesus and it is through Your name that we pray. Amen. This Jesus who came to walk with sinners and was killed a sinless man and was Who was resurrected from the dead and now sits in Heaven with You. This same Jesus Who will guide us into His paths of righteousness all the days of our life as we cling to Him. It is also this same Jesus in Whom we come to You in prayer. Amen. Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your marvelous grace that was poured out in the sacrificial death of Your Son and is made available to all for salvation from sin. You want all men and women to be saved and come to knowledge of the truth. We’re grateful for those You raise up to be arms of compassion and instruments of blessing to others in the body of Christ and to those who walk in the ways of the world. Whether we were protected from the ravages of sin or we are experiencing Your restoring grace we thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given us strength; that He considered us faithful, appointing us to be His servants for the furtherance of the Gospel. I want to thank You for all the prayer warriors that have been praying for me as I go through the surgery process today. Lord I have peace that the surgery will be fine and all the messes will be taken care of. Thank You for guiding the surgeons hands and the whole staff that will be taking care of me. Thank You Lord for protecting my bride and easing her mind along with everyone else's mind that is holding us up in prayer. I love You Jesus and I ask this in Your mighty name. Amen. Heavenly Father, we read in scriptures and I believe Jesus surrendered His life at Calvary. He willingly took on flesh and lived among a very imperfect human race in a fallen world. In great humility He stripped Himself of the privilege, position, power and wealth You possessed in heaven. Jesus, when You walked among Your people You experienced betrayal, misunderstanding, hatred and temptation, yet You were without sin. Even as You made necessary preparations to come to this earth and live among a sinful people, help us to prepare our heart, mind and soul to be among Your holy people that will make a spiritual difference on this side all the while growing our affection for our future eternal home. Just as You gave of Yourself so willingly help us to willingly give of ourselves as a fragrant offering to You and as a witness to this sin-darkened world. In Your name, Jesus, we pray. Amen.
