Heavenly Father, we confess that we are weak and fearful people, apart from Your Holy Spirit that makes us valiant and strong as we stand up for Your righteousness. The conflicting philosophies, the indulgent sinful behaviors of humanity, the worship of creatures rather than our Creator, and the false religions that abound require us to be equipped daily in Your spiritual armor. Our struggle is not physical but spiritual in nature as the powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces in the heavenly realms battle for our souls. This conflict will not end until we unite with You in heaven, so keep us vigilant and trusting as we do battle with our enemy. You are the captain of our army and we will be victorious as we follow Your every command. Help us to do so we pray in the blessed name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I come to You in Jesus Christ my Lord and my Savior. There are many sins and vices that weigh us down, slow our spiritual maturity, throw us off stride, cause us to stumble and to be a stumbling block to others. And yet the enemy of our soul makes them so appealing, seemingly irresistible. But You call us to lay aside the deeds of darkness that were part of our old self, to put off falsehood, anger, wrath, malice, slander or abusive speech, anything of wicked origin that would make us who claim to be children of the light to be caught up in the evil deeds of darkness from which we were delivered. Lord I pray that not one of those that are following this ministry is lukewarm as Jesus mentions in the book of Revelation. No, but on that day we stand before God, we will hear Him say, "Well done my good and faithful servant," We pray for those struggling in this choice between light and darkness, that You will show them the way to victory as You undergird them with Your strength. May their resolve be the same as that of Paul who declared, “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” Through the power of the Holy Spirit and in the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, we invite the work of Your Holy Spirit to descend upon our heart, to wean it from ungodly attitudes, destructive habits, and worldly passions. In love and compassion You stooped to our weakness, mighty as You are, in the person of Jesus Christ who lived a life of holiness, and willingly laid down His life that we might be forgiven, that our hearts and minds might break conformity from this world and be transformed into the pattern of holy living. As we surrender our heart, soul, and mind to You we see the cross of Jesus, and as we cling to His cross we deny ourselves, take up our own cross, and follow in His footsteps wholeheartedly. We thank You for the wooing of Your Holy Spirit that assists and encourages us as we withdraw our allegiance from the affections of this world. It’s through the power of Christ that we are able to make this mighty, eternal transformation. It is in His name that we thank and pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, what a joy it is to walk along life’s pathway with a loving companion who is present during times of celebration and times of disappointment. It seems that You make my bride strong when I am weak, and when she is weak You make me strong. You blend our strengths and weaknesses to make us an effective spiritual team and a genuinely committed family. Thank you for your countless blessings that far outnumber the difficulties and heartaches of our lives. I pray that you would encourage all those that follow this ministry who are presently going through marital strife. Remind them that they will experience future blessing as they endure and work through their present difficulties. When we cut short the permanency intended in a marital relationship we miss so much of the blessing that comes years later after many of the earlier struggles are but a memory. Thank you Lord for Your gift to me when You brought Leanna into my life and who remains my constant companion as we grow old together. What a marvelous blessing for which we are thankful. In the precious name of our Savoir I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, I thank You for deliverance from the dominion of darkness and being transferred into the kingdom of Your Son where I find redemption, the forgiveness for my sins. It is in Your holy Kingdom that my heart is transformed from an earthly nature to that of a heavenly nature. As I walk in newness of life I must deny myself of any sinful craving for that which was familiar to my earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed. “I am resolved no longer to linger, charmed by the world’s desires. Things that are higher, things that are nobler; these have allured my sight.” Remind me of this lifelong resolve when I am tempted to give up that which brings lasting joy for that which brings momentary pleasure. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, As I think of my life since I came to know You, I confess to You that my heart can easily become like unplowed ground. Often destructive attitudes that I don’t deal with right away remain in my heart and cause me to be hardened toward You and others that I love. I invite the work of Your Holy Spirit to cleanse, renew and refresh me as I yield my heart to the searchlight of Your Word. As I seek You, Lord, You will come and shower Your righteousness and blessing upon my life as the fruit of Your unfailing love flows out to those around me. I can do all things through Christ who enables me through the power of Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus name I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, as I teach today's message today on trusting You and obeying You, I pray that You guide me and let the listeners have ears to hear. Lord, we don’t always know where our next steps will take us on life’s journey, but we do know they lead us toward heaven as we walk with You. Our steps here may lead to cold, dark mountains or deep valleys. Crooked paths and rough terrain may be part of the journey, but ultimately we will rest where at the feet of Jesus at heaven’s throne. There we will no longer have questions about our future, for we know that we will spend eternity forever worshiping You as we give You glory, honor, praise, and thanksgiving. Give us peace, joy, and endurance for our journey here below and heavenward anticipation for our future inheritance. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen. Heavenly Father, Thursday as I went to town to pick up grain I noticed a lot of people congregated around one of the local churches and there was a sign saying: National Day of Prayer. I'm happy to see that there are some people in this nation that reverence You on this day, but it should be everyday that the true believers should be in prayer. I am reminded so often of the scripture in 2 Chronicles, but I don't see much of the body of Christ taking it seriously. "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will heal their land" Lord, it is in Your great name that we, the body of Christ come together and anchor our hope. In Your powerful name we cast down all that pertains to evil as we also raise up a standard that goes before us in our battle against the forces of darkness. We lift our hearts to You, gracious Father, seeking forgiveness and favor. As You view our troubled, sin-ridden nation we ask once again for mercy, for a visitation of Your Holy Spirit to overshadow, convict and heal our land, to renew our spirit so that it reflects the Spirit of Christ. Deepen our devotion and loyalty to You and the causes that are dear to Your heart. Do not give us over to our sins, as we deserve, but give us, instead, over to passionate prayer, a heart of repentance, and an obedient spirit that moves Your heart. “May Your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in You.” We pray that Your love will not only fill but overflow in our lives so that it is visible to those whom we seek to influence for the Kingdom. In the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, to find lasting satisfaction and personal reward we must look to Your blueprints for our lives since we are Your creation. You have shown us by Christ’s example what is good and that which You require of us; to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with You. As we do that we will find great purpose, the kind of purpose that is not just for our earthly existence but that which lasts for all eternity. May we be faithful in making choices today that reflect Your purpose in my life and fulfills our spiritual calling. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, we want to continue to live in You; our faith being rooted and built up in You, and strengthened through teaching from the Holy Scriptures and from the example of godly believers. Help us to be faithful in our walk, in our talk, in our actions, and in expanding our spiritual knowledge so that we will walk in a manner that pleases You and honors Your holy name. My prayer For my life and those that have been part of this ministry is that we become and remain on fire for You. No more living a life of lukewarmness. In Jesus name I pray. Amen. |
