Heavenly Father, may we be people who are quick to notice the ways in which we can be of special blessing to others. It seems quite easy when it comes to those whom we befriend. We often recognize their need before they express it and find genuine fulfillment in being Your hand extended to them. But You challenge us to go even further in making ourselves available to our enemies with whom it is not natural to provide for their needs. In expressing agapé to those around us we love in spite of what we see or have experienced. May all that we do on behalf of others be an expression of Your heavenly touch extended through Christian human service. It is in Your strength and compassion that we can do that which is unnatural to our human flesh, but natural to our redeemed spirit. In the precious name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your perfect plan of salvation. Thank You for Jesus, the Bright Morning Star. We also thank You for John the Baptist who had a vital role as prophet of the Highest when he gave knowledge of salvation to unbelievers leading them to repentance of their sins. We thank You that he came to give light to those who sat in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide their feet into the way of peace. We consider the ultimate price that he paid in laying down his life because he was a prophet who spoke the truth even when it cost him everything. He didn’t preach “peace and comfort” to those practicing sin, but instead he told them how to be saved. Help us to follow his example and lead unbelievers to the Bright Morning Star who will guide us through this dark, sin troubled world to the eternal abode where there will be no more night, for Your glory will give us light and the Lamb will be as a lamp for all to see. Keep us faithful until that eventful day we pray in Jesus name. Amen. Heavenly Father, what I have learned from following You as our intimate relationship grows stronger, nothing brings abiding peace more than knowing that we are saved from the penalty of sin and that we are firmly grounded in Your holy precepts. For the true believer, It makes us feel safe in a struggling world that where most continue to search for knowledge from all the wrong sources. We are sound in our outlook when we align our understanding and convictions with the teachings of Christ, His disciples and the prophets of old, for we speak wisdom among those who are mature; a wisdom, however, not of this age nor from the authority of this world that changes from year to year. Our wisdom is based upon our knowledge and understanding of You, our eternal Father, the One who changes not. In You we are saved and we are sound. Praise Your Holy name. In the precious name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, I pray this prayer in the name of Jesus my Lord and my Savoir. I am eternally grateful for Jesus who imputed His righteousness in me, just as You imputed my sin into the sinless Lamb of God who poured out His life for me on the cross. Through this merciful and selfless sacrifice of Christ I am justified. Jesus truly paid the highest price for my redemption and removed the penalty of sin for all who truly repent and believe. In the book of I Isaiah You said: Isaiah 1:18 KJV Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Thank You Lord for this gift paid in full by the atoning work of Your Son. Amen. Heavenly Father, There are many a church where the enemy has crept in and changed the beliefs of Your Word. Your Word cautions us to test the spirits, to see if they are from You or from the master deceiver. The voices that we choose to hear should always guide our hearts to the Master Shepherd and to His words recorded in Scripture; not to other vices, negative attitudes, or to self-glorification. As we seek after Your heart, we will easily recognize the voice of Jesus our Shepherd and desire to follow Him in all our ways. Thank You Jesus for Your Word, Your truth. It's in Your name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, because I love Your commands more than worldly pleasures or temporal possessions I despise the paths that lead me astray like a lost sheep. You have gone before me and cleared the way so that I might follow in Your steps and the steps of other righteous, godly saints. I am comforted in knowing that I don’t walk alone, but I walk hand in hand with You as my Guide. Through eyes of faith I see a great cloud of witnesses, those spoken of in the Bible and those I’ve known in my lifetime, who’ve already finished the race cheering me on as I persevere on this path of righteousness. May I willingly endure hardship as it disciplines my commitment to walking in Your ways. I want to wholeheartedly seek You above everything else, for You are a Rewarder of those who diligently seek You. Lord I pray that those I meet know that the walk I walk is different then those of the world. Even if they don't remember my name, they know that I always followed something bigger than myself, them, or anything in this world. Jesus thank You for loving me, saving me and living in my heart. In Your name I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, there are so many that have been following this ministry who are battling storms in their lives. Some are battling sickness, some are grieving the death of a loved one. We pray that You speak peace to these brothers and sister in Christ and nurture their trust, even helping them to grow spiritually in the midst of their grief. May they see You at work even when the answers they seek are not the ones they are given. As believers we trust that You are working for our good, even when we don’t understand, for we know that all things work together for good to those who love You, who are called according to Your purpose. Help us to remember that our sorrows and disappointments have a larger purpose than simply to make us miserable. These often come so others can observe our response, to see if we bear witness to Christ’s abiding presence in our lives, in the hard stuff of life. Remind us that if we want to share in Your glory we must also share in Your sufferings (Romans 8:17). We don’t get to choose what sufferings we must go through, but we do choose our response; whether it glorifies You or glorifies our suffering. Help us we pray in Jesus name. Amen. Heavenly Father, though we don’t know the day nor the hour, You already have the blessed event of Christ’s return on Your divinely appointed calendar. Even as the Son of Man ascended into heaven He will come again, but this time we have the blessed hope of ascending with Him and joining with those of like precious faith. Thank You for loved ones and witnesses of the truth who have repeated this glorious life-transforming message to us over the years preparing our hearts for this major event. I thank You for ones like my parents and aunt Ruth that continually prayer for my salvation. May it be the resounding message from our own lips as we anticipate the glorious moment when we will all be changed in the twinkling of an eye. Help us to be faithful and watching eagerly for the blessed hope of Your second coming where those of us on earth will take up eternal residency in heaven. In Your name, Jesus, we pray to You as we look for Your reappearing. Amen. Heavenly Father we read in Scripture of the importance of keeping our word, that we are not to make a promise we are unwilling to keep. There were dire consequences for the Israelites who made and broke vows, most especially vows made to You, Father. Millions upon millions of lives have been shattered due to broken promises. Help us to count the cost before we commit to a promise. Though circumstances may make it very difficult to keep our promise show us a way that we can follow through. If it is an impossibility grant us guidance in how we handle the matter with integrity, humility, and repentance seeking to keep peace and doing what is within our power to correct the situation. Above all, we thank You that You keep every promise You make. You are like a shield to all who seek Your protection. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, the fifth commandment, You tell us that we’re to honor our father and mother. When we honor our parents, Lord, we also honor You and show appreciation for Your marvelous workmanship in our lives. I am thankful to You Lord that you blessed me with a mom and dad that instilled morale values into my life. A mom and dad that taught us that there is a true living God and took my brother and sister to church where we heard from the pastors that taught what Jesus said "No one comes to the Father but through Me." Lord, We acknowledge that You ordained the family of our origin and we give thanks to You for our mother and father, brothers and sisters, along with special women we connect with; those who take us under their wings in our life’s journey, that become a mother like figure to us, loving and caring for us as though we were blood related. I also thank You for my beautiful bride and also a mom to two beautiful daughters. We pray for our mothers and these dear mother like figures in the name of Jesus. Amen. |
