Heavenly Father, thank You for molding me into who You chose me to be and Lord, I pray that I am getting to be that person during the good times and also in those times that life isn't so kind to me. My Lord and God, I do thank You for people that You have put in my circles. Some, there is a strong bond while others, that trust is just beginning. Lord, scripture tells us that Your Word is sharper than any two edged sword and yet I see others using that sword two cut others to pieces. Lord, we know that it is Your desire that we stay faithful to Your teachings. Scripture gives many examples of those who knew to do right, but chose to do wrong. The consequences of their wrong actions inflicted a great deal of loss, life-long regret and emotional pain. Help us to avoid the traps Satan has set for the believers by not only reading the Word, but applying its truth to our lives, and standing firm when the temptation to do wrong is ever before us. Lord I pray that the Holy Spirit continues to guide me in delicate matters, teaching and loving on others that are in need and chastising me when I need correction. Jesus, we love You and we ask this prayer in Your Holy name. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the Holy Spirit that comforts me and guides me. Lord I thank You for Your Word (Jesus) where I can find how to deal with any part of my life. Lord, in our attempt to get even with our offender, we can do irreparable harm not only to our wrongdoer, but most especially to ourselves. Instead of having a spirit of forgiveness we harbor a vengeful heart. Our hearts harden and take on the character of the enemy instead of the Savior who loved us even while we were dead in our transgressions and sins. Our debt of sin He paid, and our death He died freeing us to break the chains of sin that had long held us bound. Father, You heal the broken-hearted and console the wounded as they seek You in the midst of their affliction, whether it is a fresh wound or an old injury. Our affliction from others is earthbound, but our affection for You is heaven bound where there will be no more heartaches or pain. Keep us steadfast and faithful till that appointed time. I ask this in the precious name of Jesus my Lord and my Savior. Amen. Heavenly Father, as I read Your Word and give more of my life to Christ, He has changed me from the depressed, hurtful, greedy, lustful man I once was. Lord Your commandment for each of us is this. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' The second most important commandment is this: 'Love your neighbor as you love yourself.' There is no other commandment more important than these two." You Lord, have called us to live at peace with all people, in as much as it is possible. As people of free will we cannot force reconciliation but we can facilitate reconciliation. Help us Lord, to lay aside pride, prejudice, procrastination and preconceived ideas of the outcome so that we take the first step toward reconciliation. We want to trust You to guide us in this most important endeavor as we attempt to live at peace with all people. In the name of Jesus we pray and give all the honor and glory. Amen. Heavenly Father, I praise You and I thank You for giving us Your Word Whom became flesh (Jesus) Lord, we read: "The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble. My son, attend to My words; incline thine ear unto My sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Lord, help our ears to be alert, our eyes to be open, and our hearts perceptive as we follow in Your ways. May we be eager to hear Your teaching and apply it to our lives so that we may be found blameless before You and experience the joy You give to those who follow Your commands. When Your meaning is clear help us to seek no other meaning to satisfy our own desires or to change the clear meaning of Your message. Align our desires with Your own, that we might find genuine peace and wholehearted obedience as You bring spiritual healing to our lives. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, guard my heart and may it be pliable so that You can continue working in me. Lord, may the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to You this day and all of my days. Lord, though there are times that I may be amongst those that are kind and follow your leading, there will also be those times that I am amongst those that continue to put You down and try to persuade me to change my faith. I pray that my conversation to people is uplifting so that I build others up rather than tear them down. Just as salt is tasty to food making it more pleasant to eat, I pray that my dialogue is wholesome making conversation pleasant and beneficial to those who listen. Because of Your redemptive work in my life I am blessed and highly flavored with the preserving salt of Your holy Word. I want to spread the message of Your salvation to others so that they are snatched from the evil one and their lives are preserved for this life and the next. My God and King, We pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen. Heavenly Father, there are so many of your children going through hard times all over the world. Lord, there are those being massacred by the hundreds. There are those that are going through earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, floods and volcanoes. Lord, we pray for those who are walking in the valley of the shadow of death with a loved one today. Give them deep abiding peace and calm assurance in place of worry and fear as they’re confronted with the circumstances that surround them this day. We pray for their loved one who is waging war between life and death, that they will find a place of quiet rest near to Your heart, O God; a place where Your sweet Spirit ministers in ways where human words fall short. Help us to trust You for that which we can’t understand and to search the Scriptures for that which You want us to fully comprehend on this side about life and death. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, You know my my heart. You know when I get up and when I lay down. Lord, You know the very intention of all that I say and do. As I invite You to examine my heart, I lay before You the people and pursuits that drive me further away from a heart of worship. You have not removed me bodily from this world, but You have raised me up spiritually to abide in Your presence even as I carry out my daily duties. As Your presence graciously overshadows me it is there that Your love and faithfulness sustains me and gives me a true heart of worship. Even as a vehicle needs fuel to properly function, I need prayer to uphold and equip me for the day that lies ahead. You, Lord is Whom I put my trust in and live my life for. In Jesus name I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, as we read and digest Your Word and live in the Light of Your Word the devil’s venomous plots are exposed. We are not caught by surprise but rather we are filled with Your Spirit which prepares us to be on the offense rather than the defense. We walk in truth and confidence as we stand strong on the day of evil. As we wear the full armor You have provided, for our protection, we can fight against the devil’s evil tricks. Our fight is not against flesh and blood but against the powers of this world’s darkness and the spiritual powers of evil in the heavenly world. So we pray in the spirit continuously asking for Your discernment strength, and guidance. We also pray for our brothers and sisters that together we will stand firm against the enemy of our souls. In the mighty name of Jesus we thank and pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, in Your Word we see warnings about the words we speak. "You will have to live with the consequences of everything you say. What you say can preserve life or destroy it; so you must accept the consequences of your words." Lord, we also read, “How great a forest is set ablaze by such a small fire! And the tongue is a fire, a world of unrighteousness. The tongue is set among our members, staining the whole body, setting on fire the entire course of life, and set on fire by hell. For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and sea creature, can be tamed and has been tamed by mankind, but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in the likeness of God.” Praise the LORD, my soul! Praise His holy name, all that is within me. Praise the LORD, my soul, and never forget all the good He has done: He is the One who forgives all your sins, the One who heals all your diseases, the One who rescues your life from the pit, the One who crowns you with mercy and compassion, the One who fills your life with blessings so that you become young again like an eagle. The LORD does what is right and fair for all who are oppressed. He let Moses know His ways. He let the Israelites know the things He had done. The LORD is compassionate, merciful, patient, and always ready to forgive. He will not always accuse us of wrong or be angry with us forever. He has not treated us as we deserve for our sins or paid us back for our wrongs. As high as the heavens are above the earth- that is how vast His mercy is toward those who fear Him. As far as the east is from the west- that is how far He has removed our rebellious acts from Himself. As a father has compassion for his children, so the LORD has compassion for those who fear Him. He certainly knows what we are made of. He bears in mind that we are dust. Human life is as short-lived as grass. It blossoms like a flower in the field. When the wind blows over the flower, it disappears, and there is no longer any sign of it. But from everlasting to everlasting, the LORD'S mercy is on those who fear Him. His righteousness belongs to their children and grandchildren, to those who are faithful to His promise, to those who remember to follow His guiding principles. The LORD has set His throne in heaven. His kingdom rules everything. Praise the LORD, all His angels, you mighty beings who carry out His orders and are ready to obey His spoken orders. Praise the LORD, all His armies, His servants who carry out His will. Praise the LORD, all His creatures in all the places of His empire. Praise the LORD, my soul! Holy Spirit, guide our tongues to speak blessings instead of curses. Lord when we speak ill over others, or ourselves, let us be quick to repent, turn away from and change our attitude and our words. Lord, I praise You and I pray this prayer in the name of Jesus, my Lord and my Savior. Amen Heavenly Father, we rejoice in the feasting periods and reflect in the mourning periods of our life. The richest experiences that shape our character are from the great highs and the deep lows we encounter over a lifetime. Not only do we spend time reflecting, studying, and learning from these experiences, but they speak to us of the importance of who we are in the midst of those circumstances. In the house of feasting we rejoice in our accomplishments and those of others from year to year. But in the house of mourning we consider the lives of those who go before us, seeking to mirror the good we witnessed or experienced from their lives. It prompts us to assess our own hearts. Are we ready should You call us to our eternal destiny? We know that planning for this life is important, but planning for the next life is absolutely essential. We want to be ready by receiving Jesus into our life and living according to Your plan as revealed in the Bible. By Your grace we can do so through Christ Jesus our Lord. in Whom we ask and pray, Amen. |
