Heavenly Father, I am thankful for the inspiration of the Holy Scriptures that provides an objective and accurate guide for every season of my life. The Bible is a lamp unto my feet and a light for the path that lies before me. It teaches, convicts, corrects, and trains me in the ways of godliness. Though many will choose other authorities to guide their lives, I choose Your Holy Book to equip me for the works You’ve called me to do in Your name. I rely on its inspired texts to sustain me in my lifetime commitment to walk in Your ways, for Jesus Himself declared, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life.” We praise You Yeshua and in Your precious name we pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, we learn in Scripture that perfect love casts out fear. Since we’re born into an imperfect world and surrounded by sinful consequences from the fall it’s hard to acquire and remain in perfect love. We find fear ever beckoning and perfect love seemingly far off. But the Word tells us not to fear since it involves expected divine punishment and we know there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Dreadful fear comes from the enemy but perfect love comes from heaven above. We cast fear into the fire and receive the perfect love that You give so generously, as seen in the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by His name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, we are so very grateful that our family roots are not the sole source of who we are nor does it dictate what we can accomplish. Our spiritual roots, because of our well-grounded faith in You, goes much deeper and spreads much broader. We are able to accomplish the impossible and overcome life’s difficulties because our roots are connected to the Miracle Worker. May the living water flowing from Your Spirit quench our thirst and the spiritual food from Your inspired Holy Word satisfy our hunger causing us to grow in spiritual maturity so that we remain safe and secure, firmly rooted in You. Father, though the winds and storms may shake us from time to time, it is in You that we live and move and have our being! Thank You Yeshua and it's in Your name we ask. Amen. Heavenly Father, we want to place our full confidence in Your sovereign plan for our lives. We recognize that trials are included in the school of faith helping us to grow and mature. It also helps us to feel the pain of others who will undergo similar trials prompting us to undergird them with prayer. When we overcome trials in life we also provide positive example to the godly as well as the ungodly. So, Father, we pray for the joy that comes with knowing that You are working Your purpose in our lives through not only the blessings we enjoy from day to day but also the trials we endure from time to time. We thank You for Jesus who helps us to endure and overcome. Amen. Heavenly Father, help us to remember as we go about our day, when so much of our work and planning is intended for this life only, that we must also fix our eyes on the life yet to come. May the things we say, think and do reflect kingdom principles that store up treasures for us in our heavenly kingdom even while we serve here below. We anxiously await that day when we receive the crown of righteousness reserved for those who have fought the good fight, finished the race, remained true to the faith, and whose greatest longing is for the glorious appearing of Christ. Amen Heavenly Father, we join with the Psalmist and pray that the words of our mouth and the meditation of our hearts is pleasing and acceptable in Your sight, O Lord our strength and our Redeemer. Jesus warns us that a good person brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, for the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. That which is in our hearts will greatly influence that which we speak or the way we act. If our hearts are focused on pure and godly things, our words and actions will reflect that. But when our hearts are full of folly and self, it will be revealed in our words and actions. Help us to be quick to repent and take necessary steps to cleanse ourselves of sin so that we are pleasing to You which is far more valuable and beneficial than trying to conceal a sin. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, Your truths do not fluctuate nor are they subject to reinterpretation by the changing philosophies of our day. Your truths are explained through the inspiration of Your Holy Word and understanding given to us by Your Holy Spirit. May our ears be open to hear and our eyes focused to see that Your eternal truths are the same yesterday, today and forever and the truths which You speak, You speak in love to all who choose to hear. We want to find favor with You by turning from our sins and giving attention to Your truth. In the name of Jesus we ask and thank. Amen. Jesus, the race You’ve marked out for us doesn’t require nearly as much physical stamina as it does spiritual endurance. Those who are physically weak due to disease, illness, and aging are just as qualified to run as those who have young athletic bodies. It’s a spiritual race where You call us to perseverance as we discard anything that would trip us up or lead us on a disastrous detour. The great cloud of witnesses spur us on; those from the Biblical period, throughout history and from our own generation. But above all I thank You, Jesus, that You endured the cross and all the suffering that accompanied it being spurred on by the joy You knew would be Yours on the other side of the cross. You cheer us on by Your own example and by the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit when we become weary in our struggle against sin as we participate in this greatest of contests. Keep us faithful, Lord and in You name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, we have been given a trust and desire to prove ourselves faithful in all areas of our lives as evidenced in our responsibilities carried out here on earth. Being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us involves sacrifice, humbleness, repentance, and obedience which does not come easily, but is nevertheless required. As we walk steadily with You and prayerfully apply Scriptural principles we will be found faithful. We look to You in prayer and come to You through Jesus Christ our Lord in whose name we pray. Amen |
