Heavenly Father, we live in a cruel, uncaring world. Lord, the cares of this world often press in on us and weigh our hearts down. It’s not your desire that we carry this heavy load because You are the Burden Bearer. You use the difficult circumstances of our lives to bring glory to Yourself as You bring spiritual maturity into our relationship with You. There are many situations where we’ve been dealt with unjustly, with unkind words thrown our way. Our typical response; “NOT FAIR!” But Your pattern of returning kindness to those who were hostile toward You serves as a sterling example to us when we’re hurt by other’s words or actions. Our faith is strengthened and our character is sharpened in the torrent of such hurtful circumstances. We must commit them to You and respond in Christian virtue. We invite You to take the evil that Satan hurls at us and turn it into glorious occasion for Your power to be released and healing to take place. It is in the name of Jesus that we pray and believe. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I thank you for the senses You gave us. This morning, I think about a conversation that my wife and I had about loving our Christian brothers and sisters. You created within us a desire for the human touch. We’re grateful for hugs of love, affection, and friendship; for those who embraced us following a personal disappointment, a time of loss, a long separation, or a time of celebration and rejoicing. Sometimes words fall short or are inadequate for a situation, so You gave us the ability to show that we really do care by warmly embracing one who is in need of a loving physical touch. Thank. You Lord and I want to share this (((((HUG))))) with anyone that is hurting this morning. In Jesus name I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, I praise You this morning and everyday. Lord I thank You for this ministry that You have blessed my wife and I with. Lord, I have been taught on Your healing and prosperity for Your children, but from the very beginning of this ministry, I have felt my call to teach on matters of the heart. This morning, I consider the words of Nehemiah who wrote, “The joy of the Lord is my strength” and Solomon who reminds us that “A cheerful heart is good medicine.” Both verses speak about matters of the heart where we store up Your love, joy and goodness. Help us not to rely solely on external stimulus to bring forth a smile, but let our smiles be contagious as they are evidence of Your abundance within in our lives. Help us to find a person today who has no smile so that we can pass ours onto her or him in the Name of Christ Jesus we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, as Charlotte and others are facing, the day to day living can be so challenging and easily drain us of the pleasures in life if we’re not careful. Lord, many times, even in ministry we do more that what You have called us to do. We are refereed to as sheep and sheep are not designed to be pack animals. Jesus, You said "Come to Me, all who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest." Help us to remember this promise. Lord I thank You for family and friends who remind us of Your promises and help comfort us and add laughter to our lives, as well as the unexpected events that make us laugh at ourselves. Would you bring heartfelt laughter to our hearts today as we go about our daily duties. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen. Heavenly Father, we praise You for the solid rock we put our faith in. Jesus our rock and our anchor. Lord, we who have received Christ early in our younger years are grateful for the solid and lasting foundation we’re building that will provide comfort, solidity, and needed perspective when we approach the golden years of our life here on earth. The older we get the more this earth and all that it has to offer grows dimmer while the lights of glory grow ever brighter. It happens because our eyes are fixed on the eternal city not built with human hands but fashioned and designed by the Builder of the Ages. Keep us true Lord Jesus, for there’s a race to be run and there are victories to be won on this side of heaven. Guide us every step of the way so that our faith is unwavering and we stay on Your strait and narrow path. We pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen. Heavenly Father, You are the Master Pruner who is growing me into the likeness of Your Son, Jesus Christ. As I remain in the Vine You assure me that I will bear much fruit lasting far beyond one season. When I consider the fruit You want to grow in me I recognize that it is all based on character traits seen in the Son. Help me to respond in accordance to the pruning knife of the Word of God as it penetrates my soul, judging the thoughts and attitudes of my heart. Cut out that which hinders my growth and submerge me in that which will make me flourish making me fruitful for the Kingdom of God. In Jesus name. Amen. Heavenly Father, our faith in You is to remain unwavering. Lord, we go through trying times in our life here on earth. Help us to be like the trees planted by streams of water that remain vibrant, healthy, and growing in spite of drought, storm and the extremes of the heat and cold. As we are rooted and built up in You we continue to grow, mature, and remain firm when the raging storms of life seek to topple our faith. No matter what we’re dealt we continue to live in You, rooted and built up, strengthened in our faith, and overflowing with thankfulness for all that You are to us. I pray this in the name of my Savior. Amen. Heavenly Father, You are the First and the Last, the Beginning and the Last. You are our Provider, our Shield, or Healer. Lord, we call on You, our Lord and God who existed before the foundations of the world were established. From everlasting to everlasting You reign supreme in the heavens above and in our hearts below. You are the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last who loves us with an everlasting love. We want to be a faithful people who call on Your Name regularly and exalt You above the heavens as we glorify You here on earth. In the name of Jesus we praise You. Amen. Heavenly Father, You have have given us the senses of smell, sight, touch, hearing and taste. All of these gifts we can use and should thank You as it allows us to see, smell, feel, taste and touch all the beauty You created. Lord, though You are Creator, You have made us stewards and caretakers of that which You created. What a joy it is to plant a seed or seedling in the ground and watch as You also provide the oxygen, rain, and sunshine to aid its health and growth. We praise You for being able to feel the fruit these plants grow and then to taste their unique flavors. We affirm once again in our writings and prayer that You are the divine Creator of the universe and all things are in submission to Your creative power and according to Your will. In the name of Jesus we pray these things. Amen. Heavenly Father, we want to run the Christian race wholeheartedly testifying to the gospel of Your grace all the days of our life. We choose to fight the good fight, finish the race, and keep the faith. It’s not the one who runs the swiftest, nor the one who runs for a day, but the one who endures to the end who shall be saved. We anxiously await the rapturous moment when we cross the finish line from mortality into immortality, from death unto life eternal, when we will hear Your wonderful commendation, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen |
