Heavenly Father, help us to be moved by the plight of those who are prepared to suffer and even lay down their lives for the sake of Christ. Presently, most all of them are from other lands, which leads to our forgetfulness. But we do want to remember them in our prayers and remember them as warriors of the faith, who for the joy set before them endured the suffering, shame and agony of their tormentors. As they endured the humiliation they also overcame by the blood of the Lamb. So many were presented the crown of life in heaven that is rewarded to those who received the sentence of death on earth by their persecutors. On Coronation Day when we all gather in heaven we look forward to fellowship with these tried and true saints of our faith who did not give up meeting together, no matter the penalty, as they worshiped You. Keep us faithful when tested by fire, we pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Heavenly Father, we are shaped and molded by Your Holy Word, through the Spirit living within us, and by the people You place in our earthly journey who take us under their spiritual wings as they impart truth in our lives. Their example, their teaching, and their prayers, and their love for us further shape and mold us to be more like You. We thank You for these precious people of the faith. Just as they have been faithful to pray for us in our time of need, we lift them up to You and ask You to meet their every need. Encourage them in the faith so that they keep their eyes on the goal of the heavenly prize. Some glad day we will all be united in heaven where we will forever worship You, King of kings and Lord of lords. In Jesus name I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, I am not ashamed of You, or Your Word. Lord, my desire is too see more set free from the bondage of sin. I want others to view the message of reconciliation as it is lived out in our lives and in our daily conversation. Jesus, because You reconciled us to the Father through Your sacrificial death on the cross we want to see others experience this wondrous reconciliation when we were snatched from the evil one and transported into the Kingdom of God. What great joy it is to share this message with others, see them respond to Your Spirit, and take them alongside us in this journey of grace. Keep us faithful in proclaiming the Good News. In Jesus name I ask and thank. Amen. Heavenly Father, my heart breaks everyday as I hear of another attack either here in the US, or lands afar. Here in America I believe there have been 87 deaths this year due to deadly force incidents, with Sutherland Texas being the last. Lord, as the pictures and videos started coming out Sunday afternoon and we learn of the families whose loved ones were struck down, we’re personally moved as we consider the deep suffering of those who endure. Father, we can make no sense of this and yet we know that You will bring good out of evil. You will take this disastrous event and bring about remarkable testimonies of healing, forgiveness, restoration, strength, and guidance from those who must rebuild their lives without their loved ones. We pray for the pastor and his wife who experienced their own loss, that they will be led of Your Spirit, and find strength and encouragement in the days, weeks and years ahead as they lend comfort, instruction, and exemplify an overcoming spirit to those entrusted to their care. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, Jesus is the true vine, in which the life of believers, as abiding branches, is hid. Abiding in Him, I am able to walk in purity of life, with Christ sharing in all the interests of of my life, taking all my burdens to Him, and drawing all wisdom and strength from Him. It is only the abiding life that bears fruit to the glory of the Father. Lord, You are the Master Pruner who is growing me into the likeness of Your Son, Jesus Christ. As I remain in the Vine You assure me that I will bear much fruit lasting far beyond one season. When I consider the fruit You want to grow in me I recognize that it is all based on character traits seen in the Son. Help me to respond in accordance to the pruning knife of the Word of God as it penetrates my soul, judging the very thoughts and attitudes of my heart. Cut out that which hinders my growth and submerge me in that which will make me flourish making me fruitful for the Kingdom of God here and for the eternal Kingdom of heaven. In the name of Jesus I ask and thank. Amen. Heavenly Father, I want to be Your hand extended to others in need. Help me not to turn the other way or to expect someone else to be Your messenger of compassion and care. I want to seek out those who need a kind touch, an attentive ear, or just another person sitting beside them. May I be sensitive to others in need and may I also be sensitive to Your leading. We also thank you for the blessedness of resting in Your everlasting arms. Amen. Heavenly Father, As members of Your family, Your Word shows us it is our duty to put on the family likeness by walking as obedient children, and in full yieldedness to the Holy Spirit. Only as we are flexible in Your hands may we be victorious in our walk, sincere in our worship or successful in our work. Lord, You challenge in Scripture to be filled with the Spirit speaking to ourselves with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. This heavenly language brings Scripture to our hearts and makes us one with You even in the midst of our busy schedule. It is from the abundance of being filled with Your spirit that we overflow with heavenly music and psalm, even in the midst of hard and unfair situations in our lives. May praise and thanksgiving be the resounding theme from our hearts on this day and everyday! In Your name, Jesus, we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, You know the spiritual pulse of our heart. The allurement to go with the popular and trendy way of thinking is ever before us. This is especially true since we’re barraged with these kinds of messages each day. I know that some of those that have followed this ministry hear negative and ungodly things everyday from family members, friends, workmates and schoolmates. Lord, help us to be intentional in taking a bold stand as we go against the waves of humanism and false religious systems. May our love and devotion to You rise up and overtake any fear or intimidation that would otherwise paralyze our witness in settings where Your name is not revered. As believers we no longer belong to this world so we will never find a comfortable place here. Give us grace and endurance to be a faithful witness in this world even when hated and maligned by others. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, while people have a tendency to judge others by their words and actions, You judge us by our motives. You know the inner thoughts of our hearts as evidenced when You spoke to Samuel about his unexpected choice in selecting young David to be the next king rather than his older, taller and stronger brothers. You don’t see things the way others see them, for people judge by outward appearance, but You see thoughts stored up in our heart. Help us to deal first with our own sin, so that when You lay upon our heart one who is caught up in sin, we can prayerfully and gently seek to restore them to a godly attitude or conduct that is pleasing to You. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, often times I am apprehensive when You speak to my heart like you did Esther, through Mordecai Your messenger. When I’m to do or say something that’s not within my comfort zone, my heart feels like it could explode and I become an emotional cripple because fear overtakes me. It prevents me from stepping out in faith and following through with an obedient heart. Would You remind me that there is great blessing when I follow Your leading. Help me not to fear the outcome, for that is not my responsibility. I need to leave that in Your hands. Thank You for Your enlisting me to be a part of your grand purpose in sharing the good news of salvation with the lost, strengthening the weak, and encouraging those whose hope has faded. I can’t do it within my own abilities but I can trust the Holy Spirit to equip me to be an uncompromising believer and bold witness for You through Christ Jesus our Lord, no matter the times or circumstances that surround me. I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength and it's through His name I pray. Amen. |
