Heavenly Father, each day I thank You for all that You do in my life. I thank You for Your mercy and grace that meets our most pressing needs. Lord, I thank You for the Holy Spirit that guides us and comforts us. Living in this world, there are many temptations and many living like the world that don't understand the joy and peace that is in my heart since we became born again that try to bring us back to that past life that we used to live. Father, Your grace helps us to rise above the struggles of this world and most especially as we focus on the perfect, everlasting life to come when the glorious appearing of Jesus is seen by those He redeemed. Lord, fill us with anticipation and expectancy while we wait. Help me, as I follow after You, to become more and more like Jesus. Lead me where You will and use me as You see fit. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, You have put on my heart to share the gospel with the world. I know what it is like to be in bondage to sin. I have been oppressed, depressed and enslaved to Satan and his addictive lifestyle, but praise Jesus, He took all of it away from me when I surrendered my life to Him. Now I pray for the lost and teach from You Word so others can be free. These people, they simply exist and have not found the joy of living. Salvation is the only way they can be set free from the enemy’s shackles. We pray for that lost soul as we lift him and her to Your throne and intercede for thier salvation. We bring the broken-hearted and abused, the lost and confused and ask that we might be part of the harvest as we share the good news of salvation. There is no one too lost or any one too steeped in sin that You cannot save, for You save to the uttermost. The harvest is ripe and huge and the laborers of workers declaring, I once was lost, but now am saved are few. I am so thankful that I am among them. Lead me Lord and guide me so that the right words are used to bring many back to You. In Jesus name. Amen. Heavenly Father, Your greatness is seen in all the world! Your praise reaches up to the heavens; it is sung by children and babies. You are safe and secure from all Your enemies; you stop anyone who opposes You. When I look at the sky, which You have made, at the moon and the stars, which You set in their places--- what are human beings, that You think of them; mere mortals, that You care for them? Yet You made them inferior only to Yourself; You crowned them with glory and honor. You appointed them rulers over everything You made; You placed them over all creation: sheep and cattle, and the wild animals too; the birds and the fish and the creatures in the seas. O LORD, our Lord, Your greatness is seen in all the world! Lord,as You call us to be busy about Your harvest work, You equip us to do Your will. We look to You for favor and for direction as we obediently follow You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Son Who gave me life. Jesus, my Lord and my Savoir Who who gave His all that we could be fully pardoned. Jesus Who redeemed us. Jesus Who bought us with a price. We accept this marvelous provision though it is incomprehensible by our finite minds to fully grasp. So many refuse Christ’s substitutionary death and continue to bemoan their pitiful plight in life, wallowing in their dismal existence. But for those of us who accept Christ’s full pardon we enjoy an abundant life, freed from the guilt of our past, and unfearful of our future. Our reservations for the New Jerusalem were secured upon our acceptance of Your free gift of salvation. It’s a win/win situation for all who forsake their sinful life and take up the cross of Jesus. We will still be praising You and giving thanks one million years from now, for never has there been such a gift offered by human hand. It’s because of Jesus and Your amazing grace that we have access to the throne.Thank You Jesus and in You precious, mighty name I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, my heart is heavy as I witness to people that have heard and believed so much stuff that contradicts what I read from my Bible. Father it saddens me to share a message with people twice a week, with many that say amen to the messages I teach and then within minutes after finishing these messages start doing the same thing the Word of God says not to do. Lord, my heart aches, when we awaken each day with widespread evil, whether it’s in the US or in a distant land like Pakistan, Africa, North Korea, Sudan, Iraq and so many other places. Places where over 100 innocent children have slaughtered by Islamic terrorists overnight. Places where whole families are barbarically murdered by the hundreds. Lord, here in the US where the majority of the church is fast asleep, it could drive us to despair when we consider the continuous chipping away of Biblical morals and godly restraint sweeping across the globe. Additionally so many deal with these troubling situations through a politically correct lens instead of the black and white truth. The only lasting answer to our soul’s diseases and widespread evil is provided for us in the arrival of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Though the majority reject Your answer for our sin problem, how grateful that Jesus still came, for He lives within the hearts of those who see their need and receive His forgiveness. In the midst of the prevailing darkness, like Longfellow, we declare that You are not dead and You do not sleep. Darkness is a temporary state, but Yours is an everlasting light. Lord, I pray that for Your chose, they never give up the race. Never give up the good fight of faith. That we never lose sight of the goal. I ask and thank You in the precious name of Jesus. Amen. Heavenly Father, Jesus said, "I have loved you the same way the Father has loved Me. So live in My love. If you obey My commandments, you will live in My love. I have obeyed My Father's commandments, and in that way I live in His love." Lord, we know that Jesus no longer physically occupy a place where we can see, touch, or talk with You face to face.Jesus also said, "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;" Lord, You reside within the hearts of those who make room for You. We place You on the throne of our hearts where Your principles and Your divine guidance are the authority and rule for our lives. Though the world may cast You aside we place You front and center of all that we do so that all who see us will also see You. May the love You shed abroad in our hearts through the Holy Spirit also be spread around to those whom we regularly have contact with through Christ our Lord in whose name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, we know that without faith we can not please You. We are to trust in You for all things. Lord we pray for the courage and conviction to stand up for You in peaceful times or during times of hostility where our lives may be on the line. There are many throughout our world who are presently enduring hostility from earthly authorities and their present lives are cast in the shadow of death today. “We choose to obey God rather than men!” We are to do what Your Word says. Not merely listen to it, or we will fool yourselves. May it be more than just reading or writing about it in Scripture, but when confronted by enemies that contradict or rebel against Your commands, we choose You. May we be found faithful in standing up for that which is right, rather than that which is popular; that which is approved by You, Father God, trumps that which is approved by man. By Your grace we will count it an honor, like the apostles who left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name of Christ. We can do this only because of Your grace and the promise of eternity with You. We praise You Jesus and in Your name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, I was once dead because of my failures and sins. I followed the ways of this present world and its spiritual ruler and this ruler continues to work in people who refuse to obey God. I did what my corrupt desires and thoughts wanted me to do. So, like this world and because of our nature, we deserved God's anger just like everyone else. But You Lord, are rich in mercy because of Your great love for us. We were dead because of our failures, but You made us alive together with Christ. You have brought us back to life together with Christ Jesus and have given us a position in heaven with You. Father God, there is nothing we could seek in this life that could bring greater freedom and joy here and now, and treasures forevermore as we abide with You through all eternity. Help us never to lose sight of the great contrast You bring into our lives as we walk out of darkness and dwell in Your radiant light. You are phenomenal God whom we love with all our hearts. Thank You Jesus and in Your name we ask and pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, we read from Your Word, "Without faith we cannot please You." Lord, from time to time we turn our eyes from You and become consumed with troubles that surround us, or worse, we become consumed with self-pity. Our emotions cloud our view of eternity giving us the false notion that here and now is all that matters. The apostle Paul stated, “If in this life we have hope in Christ only, we are of all people to be pitied”. We can become “much discouraged because of the way” that our journey through life is not smooth, predictable, nor can we avoid the twists, turns, and detours by using a gps. You never promised that our Christian walk would be easy, but You did promise never to leave us or forsake us. You promised to come alongside us and work out even the bad things we encounter for our overall good and for the good of others. Keep us faithful and trusting during the journey we pray. In Jesus name. Amen. Heavenly Father, You are the Great I Am. Everyday I see You working in peoples lives that live their lives for You and I stand in awe, knowing the changes You have done in my life and those that surrendered their lives to You. Lord, in this trying time that we live, I see a few people that put away all the excuses to live a life You have chosen for them. They push through the crowd instead of being like the crowd. I am inspired by those very special people that You have called out from among the ordinary. They look to You for physical strength and extraordinary faith to overcome the obstacles that would otherwise hinder their ability to live a productive life. They’re living examples of the redeemed who have invited Your strength to be perfected in their weakness. When we are powerless, You are all-powerful and You receive the glory due Your name. So help us not to resent our weaknesses or limitations, for it is in these challenges that we can take no credit but rather give honor to the One who makes all things possible for those who believe. Thank You Lord and in Jesus name I ask and pray. Amen. |
