Heavenly Father, I hear many asking how do we know what Your will is. Lord, for me that question is easy. Help me Lord to help others to feel, hear and sense the same thing you share with me. Lord, So many times I hear from those that base Your will on others past experiences. I hear them also say that because someone that has titles in front of their name, or because they went to collage that their opinions are what Your will is. Lord, You make Your will known to us through the authority of the Holy Scriptures. And yet each day we are exposed to opinions and lifestyles that are a direct contrast to Your teaching through Scripture and the life of Jesus. It helps us deal with such conflict when we remember that though we must be in the world we are not to partake of the world’s ways. We recall the temptations of Jesus over the 40 days He spent in the wilderness fasting and praying. Matthew writes that it was Your Spirit that led Jesus into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. I believe it was to show us that even Jesus could be tempted by the evil one. He was human. I also believe these temptations were to show us how to resist the devil’s crafty lies by responding with Scripture? Praise You Jesus!! Also to show us that being prayed up helps us to resist the evil one? Thank You for this inspiring and instructive Scripture passage that helps us in our own wilderness journeyings that are filled with baited traps along the way. We want to be prayed up and read up so that we will not give the devil a foothold in our lives. We want to be victorious through Christ Jesus our Lord in whose name we pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I come to You with a saddened heart this morning. Lord, I do thank You for diversity in the body of Christ. You didn't make us as puppets where You control us by pulling our strings. There is so much incredible variety in personalities, giftings, ethnicity, and varied interests. Lord, I see all these great things in people on the three websites that you have blessed my wife and I with. and the many sites that I am administrator of and then the ones I just enjoy sharing with other believers, including secular sites. Lord, as we dwell together in unity You help us to become like minded, having the same love, being of one accord. Your work goes forward when we set aside our personal agenda, and for the sake of the body, focus on that which we have in common with our brothers and sisters in Christ. Lord, as much as it is possible, help us to be at peace with our church family, our immediate and extended family as well that You have blessed us with. Help us when teaching other to remember to do it in love, even when we get frustrated. Praise Jesus!! Let us have the mind of Christ. Lord, there are a couple sites I see division brewing. Lord, when there are those discussions that some may not agree with, instead of slandering their name, let us walk away and be in prayer to what the truth is and when we are right, be in prayer for that other person. Help us, Lord to be bold in Your teachings, but with tender heart. In the name of Jesus I pray and thank You. Amen. Heavenly Father, family is important to You. We can find this truth threaded through Your Word. Lord God, like my reading today in the book of Malachi this morning. Lord we praise You and how thankful we are that You are in the restoration business. We, as the redeemed, are acutely aware that we have fallen short in so many areas of our life. We have experienced multiple disappointments and sorrowful trials because of our mistakes and willful disobedience. But we are not without hope because You restore those who acknowledge their sin, call on You for help, and look to the Scripture for guidance. We pray that You would restore the relationships of those whose bonds are broken. May both parties generously apply forgiveness like an adhesive is used to bond fragments together. How wonderful that You restore the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers as they look to You for forgiveness, healing, guidance, and renewal of their love and respect for one another. We thank you and pray this in Jesus name. Amen. Heavenly Father, there is a spiritual battle going on, but we know that we can trust in You to see us through. Though Satan has a sinister and deceitful scheme for my life I will not fear. Lord, Your guidance for me in discerning his evil schemes is revealed throughout the entire Bible. Not only do we receive warning through the prophets, the disciples and other people of faith, but we see Jesus as the supreme example of One who resisted the temptations of the evil one. His time of testing in the wilderness and in the garden of Gethsemane reveal that resistance to temptation brings present and future reward. Though Satan wants me so that he can destroy me, You want me so that You can save me, here and now, and for the hereafter. Lord, You call us close to You and tell us to resist the devil and then he will flee form us. Lord, my prayer for all believers is to be free from the friendship of the world, and be submitted to God, thus shutting and bolting the door against the devil. Praise You Jesus Thank You for the spiritual armor that protects me from the evil one. I ask and thank You Jesus. Amen Heavenly Father, we thank You for the Holy Spirit, Whom comforts us in our need and empowers us, Lord, as we faithfully serve You it is not for our fulfillment but for the fulfillment of the Great Commission that the Gospel message be delivered at home and abroad to the outermost parts of the earth. No matter our Christian service, whether great or small, when it is offered in Your name it brings reward, often visible here and now but at times unseen by the human eye. Help us to go forth in confidence and walk in obedience as we seek to glorify Your name. In Jesus name we thank and ask. Amen. Heavenly Father, Your word tell us there is one way for salvation. Praise the Lord! We need to confess with our lips and believe in our hearts that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died for our sins, rose again on the third day and is now seated at Your right hand in heaven. To acknowledge this truth comes so naturally with great enthusiasm, boldness, and conviction when other believers are standing nearby lifting their praises in agreement right alongside us in a church service or a gathering where there is freedom of worship. But the real test of our faith is when we publicly acknowledge these Biblical truths among those who don’t agree bringing about ridicule or persecution. No matter the setting and no matter the testing, by Your grace, may we be numbered in the faithful remnant of Your devoted followers. And we pray for those who are presently undergoing persecution. May You uphold them by Your strong hand and deliver them from their oppressing persecutors, we pray in Jesus name. Amen. Heavenly Father, Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and light unto my path. Lord, most have heard this verse hundreds of times, but I wonder sometimes if the claim it for themselves. Lord, I pray that the light of Your Word shines forth not only in my path, but spreads out to those nearby. As I meditate, memorize and endear Your Word to my heart I pray that meaningful Scripture will be a natural outflow of who I have become through Christ. Praise You Jesus! In honoring Your Word the power of Your Holy Spirit uses Scripture to bring conviction, instruction, and inspiration. Help us to be faithful in reading and engrafting Your Word to our hearts so that we consistently and earnestly contend for the faith no matter the difficulty or temptation we face this day. In the name of Jesus, my Lord and Savoir. Amen. Heavenly Father, I pray that You use me as You will. Lord I thank You for loving me and pulling me from my path to destruction. Lord, You showed, yet still many don't believe, that death could not keep its hold on our Lord Jesus Christ, when You raised Him from the dead. The resurrected power that You gave Jesus also dwells in us, the redeemed. It gives us the power to overcome the most impossible situations where Satan has had influence over us. At times You miraculously intervene and other times You provide us with the strength to hold up when we experience trouble upon trouble. When we lose our way You lovingly, gently, and persistently nudge us back to the Great Shepherd of our souls. Lord, there is no other like You. Your ways I believe, but stand often in awe. Jesus, I praise You and pray this in Your name. Amen. Heavenly Father, You alone are God. In You we can trust. Lord, in the midst of danger and troubles, just like King David, we find refuge in You, for You are our Fortress and our Deliverer. You are our hiding place when we seek security and safety from the troubles that surround us. We are confident in Your protecting and guiding hand as You carefully watch over us all our days and deliver us from all our troubles. Lord with all the sick barbaric things that are happening to Christians all over the world, let us be strong in our faith. Lord, we pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters, as they endure hardships and tribulation, that Your songs of deliverance will bring a calm and peaceful assurance to their weary souls. Your teaching and counsel is our guiding light in this very troubled world. Thank You, faithful and loving Father. In Jesus name we ask and thank. Amen. Heavenly Father, we thank You for innocent blood of Jesus that was shed at Calvary. Lord, we thank You for the great Shepherd of the sheep, who equips us with everything good for doing His will, and who works in us what is pleasing to Him, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let us therefore seek to excel in those duties becoming to Christians, such as brotherly love, generosity, contentment, obedience to those over us, fixedness in the faith, patient suffering with Him and continual praise. Jesus, we ask this in Your Holy name. Amen
