Heavenly Father, I think about all that happens in a 365 day time and I am reminded just as there are seasons throughout the calendar year there are seasons throughout our lives; many of them invigorating and celebratory, others wearying and dreaded. Yet it is both joyous times and dreaded occasions that shape us into Your image so that we bear the likeness of Your Son, Jesus Christ who endured great hardship. We are to fix our eyes on Him, who for the joy set before Him, endured the cross despising its shame knowing that without full obedience He could not offer full redemption for our sins. Help us not to become weary in carrying out the tasks required of us or the physical challenges common to these perishable bodies. May we not interpret all of life in the “darkness of our suffering” but in the brightness of Your resurrected Son. In the “furnace of affliction” may we be found faithful in Your refining process. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, we learn from King David to be in prayer to You daily. O Lord, in the morning will I direct my prayers to You and I will look to You with expectation. Though You neither slumber nor sleep and certainly have no need for an alarm clock, we know it brings delight to Your ears to hear Your children vocalizing their praises first thing upon awakening to a new day. Your steadfast love never ceases and Your mercies are unending. We declare our praises to You, Faithful Father as You lead us in paths of righteousness. For You bless the godly, O Lord, and surround them with Your shield of love and protection. Lord, may we be a praying people, not for just when we are in our calamities, but a people that learns to talk to You for everything that is in our heart. I ask this in the name above all names. Thank You Jesus. Amen. Heavenly Father, a promise that always comes to mind that You made is: "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." Lord, You are our God. You are our helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Lord, You guide us through the many dangers, toils, and snares that we face while journeying here below. In these major challenges we desire to give You glory in what we say, what we do and in the way we process our emotions as we prayerfully respond to the challenges set before us. We want to be joyful in hope, patient in affliction and faithful in prayer as we overcome life’s struggles. We find healing for our soul when we rely on You, our tender and loving Father, who heals our broken heart and binds up our wounds. You are ever faithful and ever interceding for us, your children. And we thank You for it in the name of Jesus. Amen. Heavenly Father, I thank You for choosing where each of us would be born and where we would live. Lord, it is in Your name that we, as a nation, put our hope. In Your name we cast down all that pertains to evil as we also raise up a standard that goes before us in our battle against the powers of darkness. We lift our hearts to You, gracious Father, seeking forgiveness and favor. As You view our troubled, sin-ridden nation we ask once again for mercy, for a visitation of Your Holy Spirit to overshadow, convict and heal our land. Revive us again in devotion to You. Do not give us over to our sins, as we deserve, but give us, instead, over to passionate prayer and a heart of repentance and an obedient spirit that moves Your heart. “May Your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in You. In the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ we pray. Amen Heavenly Father I pray for the body of Christ. Lord as we are most assuredly in the last days I pray that the true Christians live like men and women who are awake, living in constant expectation of Christ’s return, and having all natural desires under Christ’s control. Lord, my Bible tells me Christ’s coming will be sudden, overtaking many who are in the midst of their carnal security. and jollity, and bringing them destruction from which there will be no escape. Lord I pray for a spiritual awakening. Lord that the spiritual eyes and ears will be open. Father God, as the thief usually comes in the dead of the night, so the coming of Christ will surprise the ungodly. It is the happy condition, however, of those who believe God’s Word, that they live in momentary expectation of His return, and whether times be troublesome or peaceful, they cannot be surprised if He should come. Lord I pray that we will have our lamps filled. Lord I love You and I pray this in the name of Jesus, my Lord and Savoir. Amen Heavenly Father, I pray today for those You have chosen to teach Your ways. Lord, because of terrible things going on and will continue to happen world wide, I believe that there will be many that will be searching for truths. Wise and good ministers of Jesus Christ will have great and tender care of young converts to encourage and hearten them, and get them received into the fellowship of the saints. There is a spiritual brotherhood between all true believers, however distinguished as to their station of life, and we should therefore seek to strengthen and help those who have been newly united to the Christian family. Lord, we are grateful for Your abundant mercy extended to us because You are a loving, forgiving God. You have called on us, Your children, to be a people of prayer and devotion. We pray for our land to repent of neglect and defiance of Your commands. We come against the powers of darkness that seek to extinguish the light of Your salvation that brings help and hope to weary souls in this life and secures their eternal place in heaven. Help us not to grow weary in our intercession, for we want to be faithful in prayer so that, at a future date, we will witness the harvest of souls. We pray for Your will to be accomplished in the name of Jesus. Amen. Heavenly Father, we praise Your name and praise You for the wonders of Your grace, the revelation of Your Word, and the confidence derived from the promises that there is no experience that can overwhelm us if we look toward You. Lord, we are grateful for Your abundant mercy extended to us because You are a loving, forgiving God. You have called on us, Your children, to be a people of prayer and devotion. We pray for our land to repent of neglect and defiance of Your commands. Help us not to grow weary in our intercession, for we want to be faithful in prayer so that, at a future date, we will witness the harvest of souls. We pray for Your will to be accomplished in the name of Jesus. Amen. Heavenly Father, how glorious it is to enjoy freedom from sin, thanks to the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus, on my behalf. My life, once enslaved to sin, now enjoys the freedom from that which once held me captive to Satan’s bondage. I live in victory because You have set me free and I am now free indeed. Thank You, Father, for delivering me from the domain of darkness and transferring me into the kingdom of Your Son in whom I have redemption, the forgiveness of sin! Lord, We lift up our brothers and sisters in prayer who live in oppressive and persecuted lands whose voices and expressions of faith are stifled by ungodly laws and rulers. Help them to hold to the faith no matter the circumstances. Encourage those who have family members or parishioners who are imprisoned for their Christian testimony. Replace any fear with courage and any doubts with the certainty of Your presence and the working power of Your Holy Spirit “to do more than we can ever ask or imagine” In Jesus name. Amen. Heavenly Father, even though this world is spinning out of control and becoming darker and darker I am at peace because I know that You are and always will be in control. I know for sure that You, Jesus are the Savior of my soul and I have given You control over my life. Lord, I thank You for the Word of God which prepares our hearts for whatever time period You have ordained for us to live. Above all, we must be diligent and faithful, serving You all the days of our life and all the while “testifying to the gospel of Your grace.” How blessed we are! In Jesus name I pray and give honor and glory to. Amen. Heavenly Father, may those who have work to do for You stir themselves up as soldiers to do it, and strengthen themselves for it in the power of our Savior, Christ Jesus. Lord, knowing that we must count upon suffering, even unto death, and therefore carefully training up others in the faith to succeed us who will approve themselves good soldiers. Lord, as we were taught in a Bible study tonight, those that really and truly follow You go through have a repented heart. Lord, for those that are luke warm, I pray that their cry to You this day will be that they come to You completely and that they allow You to break them. Lord, the teaching of Your Word is like a hammer that breaks away the clumps of hardness in our hearts; our stubbornness, pride, and rebellion. When we read and apply Your principles they open our blinded eyes, guide us out of darkness into light and put a fire in our spirit; a fire that doesn’t burn out but empowers us to live for You all the days of our life. We thank You for the fire of Your Spirit. It is in Jesus name that we pray. Amen. |
