Heavenly Father, today we bless You, our God of heaven. May Your name be blessed forever and ever, for wisdom and power belong to You. It is You who changes the times and the epochs; You remove kings and establish kings; You give wisdom to wise men and knowledge to men of understanding. You reveal the profound and hidden things; You know what is in the darkness, and the light dwells within You. To You, O God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, You who created us know what is best for us and thus we have the Scriptures as our guide and Your commands to teach us the paths of righteousness. Paul writes that each of us should live as a believer in whatever situation we find ourselves in, whether we are single, married, widowed, divorced, or a parent. Our behavior, attitude, and lifestyle should express the heart of Christ and reflect the kingdom of God. Help us to honor You and one another as we live out our daily lives in our troubled world where approval is sought from polling rather than the living and timeless Word of God. Help us not to be swayed by the decay of truth and purity in our day. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father God, the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, stands out among all the rest, for it is only in His name that we have power to combat the enemy as we come boldly to Your throne of grace. May our name, and all that we stand for, be respected among those who know us, including that of our family members who know us best, as well as those whom we work for. May the way we live and conduct our lives bring honor to You and blessing to our family, our community and to the kingdom of God. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, Your perfect design for creating a family started with Adam and Eve. And so your order continues to our own generation. At the heart of our family relations the fifth commandment indicates that we’re to honor our father and mother which includes a promise that we’ll live long full lives. When we honor our parents, Lord, we also honor You and show appreciation for Your marvelous workmanship in our lives. We acknowledge that You ordained the family of our origin and we give thanks to You for our mother and father, brothers and sisters. Make us a blessing to them as the fruit of the spirit continues to grow in our lives and is played out in our relations to them. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, one of the greatest passages that describes the earnest believer’s mission statement is Matthew 6:33, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you”. We are to pursue Your eternal kingdom which includes righteous living, in stark contrast to the things of this world where many, as in the parable Jesus told of the young rich fool, say to themselves, “Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry.”’ But [You] said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?’” Any achievements, accumulation of things, or affections of this world will be wholly insignificant when the “former things of this world pass away”. I don’t want to experience the greatest rejection of all time, “Depart from me… I never knew you.” Instead I want to be among those that You dry every tear from their eyes; those who experience no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying and no more pain, since the former things have passed away. I long to hear Your loving words of invitation, “Well done, good and faithful servant! You were faithful over a few things; I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your master!” It is by the grace of God that we are saved through Jesus’ shed blood for which we give thanks. Amen. Matthew 6:33 Luke 12:19-20 Matthew 7:23 Matthew 25:23 Heavenly Father, we look forward to that land where there will be no more sorrow, for it will be a thing of the past. Since there will be no more dying, no pain, no disease, no sin at all there will be nothing to make our hearts sorrowful. For now, though, we deal with sorrow in this life. When our hearts are heavy we can call out for help like the Psalmist who prayed, “My soul is weary with sorrow, strengthen me according to Your Word.” We can be strong and courageous as we hold to Your righteous right hand. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Jesus, it is by Your amazing grace that I rejoice in the glorious transformation that has changed my life completely and forever. For You delivered me from the domain of darkness and transferred me into the Kingdom of Your Son in whom I have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. I pray for those reading this prayer who have loved ones trapped in alcoholism, drugs, addictions, sexual immorality and other types of sinful bondage that they would turn to the Lord and be set free. Thank You for Your glorious deliverance and heavenly transfer – and it is all because of Your love. Amen. Heavenly Father, the light of Your love surrounds those who walk in the light. But You make Your light shine brightest when we’re surrounded by darkness. We don’t blend into the darkness but instead the light of Your love shines in stark contrast so that those walking in darkness can see the way to repentance through our changed lives. Even as we’re able to see God in the face of Christ, may the world see Christ in the face of believers all over this dark planet. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, help us to look beyond material provisions and recognize that the value of spiritual blessings far exceed our temporal needs and pleasures. We often live in anticipation for that which we don’t presently have. Help us instead to appreciate and tenderly care for that which You have already entrusted to us, whether it’s the people in our lives or our material blessings. May our faith in You increase as we build and store up our treasure in heaven rather than chasing after fool’s gold here on earth. And may our resolve to stand firm intensify as we see the day of Your return approaching. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Your purpose in my life, Lord, is seen in a multitude of ways; whether it is in my farming practices; in the way I interact with those interested in purchasing rabbits; in the relationships I engender or in the way I use my gifts to touch other lives as I share the good news of Jesus. But Your purpose in my life is especially visible to others in my response to heartache, betrayal, disappointment, suffering, and loss. Your purpose can be seen when I choose not to repay evil for evil, but rather good for evil. Lord, as I keep Your purpose for my life always before me I will remember that much good spiritual fruit can be developed in me in the ups and downs I encounter daily. May I be faithful in making choices today that reflect Your purpose in my life. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen. What is God Fest 2021?
