Heavenly Father, we thank You for Jesus and His obedience in dying for our sins that we might be forgiven and experience eternal life. We’re so glad that You did not abandon Him to the grave, but instead You raised Him up on the third day so that we might have eternal salvation. We place our hope in You for all that concerns us in this life. We also look beyond the grave knowing that our greatest hope awaits us there. Keep us faithful in life’s journey so that our hope on this side will be fully realized on the other side. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, as I am with unbelievers today and some that are very bitter, may words of encouragement, comfort, and exhortation flow from my lips so that I may spur others on in the faith. I pray that those that follow this ministry do likewise and most especially our own children and grand children. We pray that You would help Christian mothers and fathers everywhere to verbalize their faith and live in a way that honors You and shows others where their source of strength lies. Help them to be the spiritual leaders of their homes so that a harvest of righteousness and peace will be upon their households. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, You are the Father of All Comfort, I look to You for consolation and peace most especially during times of turmoil. Incredibly Your supernatural peace does not depend on the physical circumstances seen by my eyes or heard by my ears. You raise me up out of the gloom of despair as I place my hope not in the visible circumstances, but rather in You who renews my strength. You enable me to soar on wings like eagles far above the troubling circumstances that weigh me down. Keep my eyes, my ears and my heart lifted up to the heavens where Your divine presence combats the assaulting storms of life. I lift up all my brothers and sisters who are storm weary, asking You to renew their strength as You help them to endure the trials of life this day. Your comfort is inexhaustible and Your compassion overflows. Thank You, Father. In Jesus name I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus. As I learn from You I find one of the greatest passages that describes the sincere believer’s mission statement is Matthew 6:33, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you”. We are to pursue Your eternal kingdom which includes righteous living, in stark contrast to the things of this world where many, as in the parable Jesus told of the young rich fool, say to themselves, “Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry.”’ But [You] said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?’” Any achievements, accumulation of things, or affections of this world will be wholly insignificant when the “former things of this world pass away”. I don’t want to experience the greatest rejection of all time, “Depart from me… I never knew you.” Instead I want to be among those that You dry every tear from their eyes; those who experience no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying and no more pain, since the former things have passed away. I long to hear Your loving words of invitation, “Well done, good and faithful servant! You were faithful over a few things; I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your master!” It is by the grace of God that we are saved through Jesus’ shed blood for which we give thanks. Amen. Heavenly Father, I pray that those that follow this ministry speak words of encouragement, comfort, and exhortation to all we are in contact with. May this be the only thing allowed to flow from our lips so that we may spur others on in the faith, most especially our own children. We pray that You would help Christian dads everywhere to verbalize their faith and live in a way that honors You and shows others where their source of strength lies. Help them to be the spiritual leaders of their homes so that a harvest of righteousness and peace will be upon their households. Lord, You are a good, good Father. It’s who You are and we are blessed by Your goodness, Your love, and Your provision for salvation through the sacrificial death of Your only Son, Jesus. We pray for our earthly fathers who seek to raise their children in the ways of the Lord. May they be an example of godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, as my bride and I get older. As I heard from my dear mom and so many others following this ministry and also ones in my community recently that are not as young as we once were, we feel things that we never did. Lord, there are many kinds of pain that we will endure over our lifetime. Physical pain is prevalent in the average person and tells us when all is not right in our bodies. We thank You, Father, for the built in warning signs that come from our nervous system. We may not like its painful message but it’s part of Your plan to protect us and a guide to others, such as parents of young children, caregivers, and medical personnel as they administer appropriate treatment for the painful symptoms we endure. We look forward to the day when sin will be no more and we will have no more pain due to disease, accidents, violence, abnormalities, or aging. Give us coping skills to endure pain and faith to believe that You are with us in the midst of our pain. In many instances You use it to get our attention and as an example to those looking on as to how we, as believers, deal with these undesirable circumstances. It’s for Your glory and our growth that even pain can be used to draw us nearer to You. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, we look forward to that place and time where there will be no more sorrow, for it will be a thing of the past. Since there will be no more dying, no pain, no disease, no sin at all there will be nothing to make our hearts sorrowful. For now, though, we deal with sorrow in this life. When our hearts are heavy we can call out for help like the Psalmist who prayed, “My soul is weary with sorrow, strengthen me according to Your Word.” We can be strong and courageous as we hold to Your righteous right hand. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, some of the ones following this ministry are grieving the death of a loved one. We pray that You speak peace to these dear brothers and sisters in Christ and nurture their trust, even helping them to grow spiritually in the midst of their grief. May they see You at work even when the answers they seek are not the ones they are given. As believers we trust that You are working for our good, even when we don’t understand, for we know that all things work together for good to those who love You, who are called according to Your purpose. Help us to remember that our sorrows and disappointments have a larger purpose than simply to make us miserable. These often come so others can observe our response, to see if we bear witness to Christ’s abiding presence in our lives, in the hard stuff of life. Remind us that if we want to share in Your glory we must also share in Your sufferings (Romans 8:17). We don’t get to choose what sufferings we must go through, but we do choose our response; whether it glorifies You or glorifies our suffering. Help us we pray in Jesus name. Amen. Heavenly Father, You take notice when we offer to you our prayer of tears. You sense the agony within our heart that stifles our ability to speak aloud of that which troubles our minds leaving us with such emotions as grief, remorse, fear, and struggles with unanswered prayer. Job, in his ongoing trials described his prayer of tears as, his face was flushed from weeping; and deep darkness was on his eyelids. Yet our tears are not in vain since they communicate to You in a language that only you can fully understand and they relieve us of built up emotion. Thank You for weeping along with us and upholding us with Your righteous hand so that we do not fall into despair. But we continue to trust, believe, and we even cry since You hear every tear that falls. And one day crying will be a thing of the past since there will be no more crying, no pain and no sorrow on the other side. We praise You Jesus and in Your name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, we thank You for the spiritual armor that defends us in battle and arms us for the struggle we encounter against the devil’s relentless schemes. This armor enables us to withstand the forces of evil, no matter the means or persons the enemy works through to try to weaken or destroy our faith. In addition to the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit we know that our prayers and petitions are heard by You who intercedes on our behalf before our Father in heaven. We use our armor for protection and we use the sword of the Spirit and prayer for weapons to reveal, attack and defeat Satan’s strongholds. It is through Your name, Jesus, that we are more than conquerors. Amen. |
