Heavenly Father, help us and guide us in all ways that we live. Not only in a state of habitual preparation but actual diligence in present service for Him, and engaged in works of charity for men. Those who have so lived will in that day receive the grandest degree in the universe, the “well-done” of Jesus Christ. Halleluiah! Lord, enable us to make a difference within our families and with those whom we encounter along life’s journey. May others take notice of the God-given grace by which we do our work and in the way we interact with others. With Christ as our chief cornerstone we are stronger and more effective in all that we do because we walk not in our own strength, wisdom, or talent, but the grace of God that is at work in our lives. We thank You in Jesus name. Amen.

Heavenly Father, what an awesome father You are. Jesus my life has changed since the day I prayed and asked You to come into my heart. You are a friend that sticks closer than a brother. Lord, I thank You also for my brothers and sisters in the faith who are often closer than our blood relations because we are joined together as a family of believers sharing common experiences and spiritual goals. So many times we find strength and encouragement from those who bear our burdens, lend a hand, and hold us accountable for our attitudes and actions. Thank You for loving, supportive, and reliable friends who draw us to our true source of hope and strength, especially in times of trouble. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, the Creator of all things. Lord, we are abundantly blessed with foods of all kinds, both vegetable and fruit, meat and bread. Thank you for those who diligently work the land and reap the harvest that we might place food on our tables and be nurtured physically. You make the grass grow for the cattle, and plants for man to cultivate— bringing forth food from the earth. All we have needed Your hand hath provided. Great is Your faithfulness, Lord, unto me. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, we praise you Lord and I will praise You with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation. Lord as we humbly receive the Word planted in us through Your Spirit we put off the old self. Help us to get rid of anything that stimulates our old way of thinking. Help us to reject that which is detrimental to our spiritual growth and to embrace that which saves us from the evil that is so prevalent in our world. Keep our hearts soft so that we are quick to confess and repent of that which dishonors You. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, the light of Your love surrounds those who walk in the light. But You make Your light shine brightest when we’re surrounded by darkness. We don’t blend into the darkness but instead the light of Your love shines in stark contrast so that those walking in darkness can see the way to repentance through our changed lives. Even as we’re able to see God in the face of Christ, may the world see Christ in the face of believers all over this dark planet. Lord, I also pray for those that are or have graduated. Father God, we ask that You would empower our graduates with great foresight, godly wisdom, daily discipline, and a sense of purpose as they enter a new season of their lives. May their hearts be fully consecrated to You as they use their natural giftings and learned skills in the marketplace. Though much about their future is not yet revealed, You have given absolute direction about their personal spiritual walk. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, You are an awesome Father. I think of the love my dad who went home to You two years ago today gave to me and how much I loved him, yet his love didn't compare to the love You have for us. Lord, we thank You for the inspiration of Your Holy Spirit that enabled the writers of Scripture to record that which would show us the way to You through Your Son, Jesus. The words of Scripture not only show us the way to salvation but guide us in our life’s journey. May Your Words be impressed upon our hearts as we give regular attention to them through reading and memorizing the Scriptures, participating in Bible Studies, listening to godly leaders expound Your Word, teaching them to our children. We don’t want a casual attitude about Your Holy Word, but rather we want to be earnest students of Your Word contending always for the faith once for all entrusted to the saints. In Jesus name, Amen. Heavenly Father, It saddens me to see what this world is becoming. Even in this once great country where are founding fathers based their very lives in You. The Mayflower Compact Act is a prime example. Precious Jesus, we want Your counsel to be our guide as we face the enemy’s assault on our personal holiness. As Hollywood and much of the world continues to trivialize and ridicule Biblical Christianity the horrendous consequences are evident as generations of people ignore Your principles established from the beginning of time. We desire to live holy lives which are a direct consequence of following Your statutes. We reject those personalities and influences that confuse our thinking and gradually erode our commitment to purity of mind, body, and spirit. We ask for discernment to recognize worldliness and discipline to embrace that which leads to holiness. We thank You Jesus and ask in Your name. Amen. Heavenly Father, I would be lost without my Savoir. Also without Your Word I would be confused and not know the truth from the lies the enemy sends my way. I know that the enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy, but I also know that You have come to give me life. Halleluiah! And in abundance. Praise You Jesus!! Lord, it seems that until we draw our last breath the devil continues to entice us to sin, whether it is in attitude or actions. Oh, how the world to evil allures me! Oh how my heart is tempted to sin! And yet as we go to You in earnest prayer and follow Your commands in Scripture, You enable us to overcome the allurement to sin and adhere to Scripture so that sin no longer masters us. We thank You for making a way of escape when we are tempted to sin. Thank You Jesus and in Your powerful name I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, I praise You today and forever. Lord, it is easy to be judgmental. I have seen congregations that snubbed a new person, or family because of whatever reason. Lord these things and more should not be. Help us Lord. We want to be wise in the way we act toward those outside the faith. We don’t want to be neutral, but we want to take a courageous stand for You in whatever opportunity You provide so that we bring You glory and we influence others for Christ. Keep us watchful, prayerful, and vigilant in extending to others Your hand of mercy and Your heart of compassion. We pray this in Jesus name. Amen. Heavenly Father, delivering a message yesterday again from a message you gave me a few years ago on having the compassion of Jesus, stirred up something in me. Father, help me share this message throughout the world for Your honor and glory. Lord, may words of encouragement, comfort, instruction, and exhortation flow from our lips so that we may spur others on in the faith, most especially our own children. We pray that You would help Christian fathers everywhere to verbalize their faith and live in a way that honors You and shows others where their source of strength lies. Help them to be the spiritual leaders of their homes so that a harvest of righteousness and peace will be upon their households. We pray this in Jesus name. Amen. |
