Heavenly Father, Jesus said " The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth laborers into His harvest. Father God, my little becomes great as You inspire me to do good works in Jesus’ name. Help me not to reach a standstill based upon my limited abilities, wisdom, or resources. I don’t give to others according to my limitations but I give to others from the abundance of blessings that You’ve poured into my life. Grant me creative means and willful determination to extend myself to someone who needs a lift today. Direct my footsteps according to Your Word as You give opportunity for divine encounters this day. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, we can learn so much from reading about Joseph's life and compare many of the things he went through to our lives today. When we examine the emotional pain of our lives we often start out with the question of “Why?” But in hindsight we realize that those struggles taught us practical truths that we would not have otherwise learned, and that there truly is purpose in our pain. We often look to Joseph, not because he was a great ruler over Egypt, but because we identify with much of his life’s experiences: betrayal, fear, rejection, his being lied about, separation, unjust treatment, delays, among other struggles. You accomplished Your purpose in His life, not in spite of his trials, but through his pain-filled ordeals. His story has been a source of encouragement to us time and again as he modeled integrity in the midst of the severe struggles and sweeping storms of life. Your eternal purpose is greater than our emotional pain. Remind us that it may not just be for our own instruction but others looking on may learn from our difficult experiences. Thank You Jesus from freeing me from so much bondage and I pray this in Your Mighty name. Amen. Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word. This morning reading about the Samaritan woman we know that Jesus spoke to her and she believed and was excited. I thank you for showing me something later on in that chapter that gave me revelation. John 4:40-41 KJV So when the Samaritans were come unto Him, they besought Him that He would tarry with them: and He abode there two days. 41 And many more believed because of His own word; 42 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard Him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world. Father God, Your principles teach me that time spent reading the Word, meditating upon it and applying it to my life makes a vital difference in my Christian walk. Spending time with other believers and learning from their examples, as well as their testimony, is another way You’ve brought positive change into my life. Hearing sermons that cause me to think and often move me to more fully surrender my heart to You has brought about foundational growth in my life. I’m grateful for those who love me enough to keep me accountable to the commitment I’ve made to live a godly life. Thank You for the spiritual health and vitality You provide as I graze on the bounty of Your abundant life-giving “green pastures.” It is in the name of Jesus that we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, You are merciful and loving, slow to become angry and full of constant love. You do not keep on rebuking; You are not angry forever. You not punish us as we deserve or repay us according to our sins and wrongs. As high as the sky is above the earth, so great is Your love for those who honor You. As far as the east is from the west, so far do You remove our sins from us. Father God, as a father is kind to his children, so are You kind to those who honor Yourself. How marvelous is Your love. So many things in life are unobtainable, just beyond our grasp, but You make Your love available to everyone who calls on the name of the Lord. Your love and tender care mends the broken heart; it cleanses the sin-filled heart, and it encompasses the empty heart. How utterly amazing that You would pour out Your sinless, extravagant love on the vilest of sinners who truly believes. Incredible to comprehend, but nothing in all creation can separate us from Your gracious and compassionate love. Thank You, Father for loving me.In the precious name of Jesus I ask and thank. Amen. Heavenly Father, because of Your marvelous grace You commissioned Your Son, Jesus, to die for an ungrateful, unreceptive and hostile people, and that includes me. Lord, I love looking into the life of Peter. It’s easy to be critical of Peter who so boldly asserted that he would never deny Christ, but did so within hours and at such a critical moment. Yet Peter’s actions help us to view the tender grace You poured out on him at his lowest moment. His bitterness dissolved into brokenness. You are close to the brokenhearted, and deliver those whose spirit has been crushed. It is so instructive and encouraging to know that weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning. Peter, a fearful failure who grew into a faithful follower, eventually gave his life for the cause of Christ. May we too have such a resolve to follow you even if it means we may lay down our life for You. Thank You for Your amazing grace that looks beyond our faults and sees our need. Thank You Jesus and in Your name I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, I thank You for You Son, my Lord and Savior. Your Word says: The sum of all sin is coming short of the glory of God for which we were created-therefore all the world stands guilty before God, unable by any works to gain acceptance with God. Justification before God is resolved thereby purely into the free grace of God through Jesus Christ to all who will receive it as a free gift. Father God, You made Jesus who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. Nothing within ourselves or our works could elevate us to such a lofty position nor could it open the door to salvation or obtain for us the eternal dwelling Jesus is preparing for all who follow Him. All our soul’s diseases are submerged in the life giving blood of the Lamb who was slain once and for all for our sins. We thank You for breaking the chains that bound us to an evil taskmaster and setting us free to live an abundant life here and now and even more fully in the hereafter. we thank You for Christ who made it all possible. It is in His name that we pray. Amen Heavenly Father, I will give thanks to You with all my heart, O Lord my God. I will honor You forever. Father God, there are ones that can't understand why it is that I say I am happy to be living in a time as this. I thank You that I know You. It is because I have a personal relationship with You and You have promises that I cling to that I can get through life and it's challenges. You reign over all the earth and You also reign in my heart! What an awesome blessing this truth brings to me today. As I consider that it is not by my might, nor by my power, but by the Spirit of the Lord of Hosts that my personal mountains are removed. Jesus, I know that most of the mountains that block my path are not moved by a simple prayer of faith, but these mountains are often the very essence of how You work through my life to reveal Your faithfulness and Your power in the midst of my struggles. You develop godly character as I am challenged to remain steadfast and faithful in my Christian walk. You make my feet like hind’s feet that enable me to walk upon high places. Help me to keep my gaze continually upward during the climb so that I see You reigning on Your throne as I bring You glory and honor! In Jesus name I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, You are the same yesterday, today and forever. You are not a respecter of persons. Father God, Your steadfast love never ceases and Your mercies are renewed daily. You deliver, heal, restore, and sustain us. Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning. In Your compassion You delivered the Israelites time after time and You do the same for us. We’ve grown to expect it and therefore we often take for granted Your kind provisions, Your delivering power and Your sustaining grace that guides us through each step of our journey. We can walk in confidence because we walk in step with Your Spirit, for Your Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. We need not fear the future but trust You for everything we have need of. It is in Christ’s name that we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, I have found and believe that each of us has something to give. Some have wealth, some have talents, some have time, some have compassion, some have wisdom. Whatever gifts You we have been given us, large or small, we should share generously. When we do, we fulfill Yours purposes and find true meaning and satisfaction in our own lives. Father God, we find life’s journey to be enjoyable and entertaining in the straight stretches of life where we travel most of the time. Other times we learn to navigate life’s twists and turns, and must exercise steady endurance as we drive through the cavernous potholes that usually appear without notice. Through it all we keep our eyes on the goal of our faith, straining toward what lies ahead, the prize for which You have called us heavenward in Christ Jesus. We can press on, even when circumstances are grim, because our strength comes from You. As the Apostle Paul wrote, When I am weak, then I am strong. In our weakness You become our strength. You are the light that breaks through our gloom and guides our every footstep. We will fight the good fight, we will finish the race, and we will keep the faith as we remain faithful in our walk with You. It is in Jesus’ name that we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, I thank You for making me born again. I thank You for a renewing of my mind. Praise Jesus! You have set in each of us a heart for eternity. We don’t think or act just in terms of our temporal lives but we also give our attention to our eternal dwelling. We can be sure of our future residence by confessing with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in our heart that You raised Him from the dead. This results in a changed life as we repent of our sins and seek to live a life in obedience to You. We are saved from our sins and the penalty of those sins because Jesus bore them on the cross. Therefore we confess with our lips and believe in our hearts that You raised Jesus from the dead providing life evermore to those of us who truly believe. Thank You for Jesus in whose name we pray. Amen. |
