Heavenly Father, I love You and the more I spend time with You, the stronger that love is. Lord, as I learn from Your Word, You show me how and why we are to be different. I learn why Your laws. I learn about grace and mercy and what it means for me. Lord, we want to live above the fray of this world as a people of righteousness set apart for Your purpose. We forsake the things of this world that bring disgrace to Your holy name and live for the purpose of bringing glory, honor and praise to You, our Father. We pray for our nation, for the turning away from our sins and turning toward the abundant life we find in Christ our Lord. You’ve called us to repentance and to share the good news of salvation to all who are lost. Help our pulpits to be aflame with righteousness. Help us to seek a fresh calling upon our lives to be obedient in this commission from Scripture. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Heavenly Father, I talk to many people who wonder who they are in You. There are so many that don't know how to find Your will in their life and they ask me. Lord, we desire to abound in good works, all the while making Your grace and love known to people all over this world. In ourselves we are frail and lack in so many ways, but in You we are able to overcome the evil one and take a stand against his schemes. Sometimes the daily battles leave us feeling a bit disheartened, weary, and even wounded at times. But we thank You for the presence of Your abiding Holy Spirit who encourages us and leads us forward in this daily conflict. Help us to praise You and trust You for the victory. In Jesus name. We raise to You our anthems of praise and our prayers of thanksgiving through Jesus our Lord. Amen. Something I shared with my congregation a few weeks ago. Who are we in Christ. You are His possession, His child, His workmanship, His friend, His temple and His vessel These are important for us to know. You are a co-laborer and His witness. You are His soldier, ambassador, His building, His chosen, His beloved. Act like it! You are His precious jewel and His heritage. Because of our Lord Jesus Christ, you my friends have been redeemed by His precious blood and set free from sin. You have been set free from Satan and set free from the kingdom of darkness. You have been chosen before the foundations of the word and predestined to be like Jesus. Glory to God! Church, you have been forgiven of your trespasses, washed in His blood, given a sound mind, given great and precious promises. Glory to God! Catch this beloved. You have been given authority over the enemy. You have access to God and have been given wisdom for free. In Christ, you are complete, totally in Him, free for ever from sin's power, sanctified, fit for the Masters use and loved eternally. You are kept in the palm of His hand, kept from falling, kept by His very power and not condemned. You are one with Him, on your way to heaven, quickened by His mighty power seated in heavenly places. Am I preaching it? You are the head and not the tail, the light in darkness, a candle in a dark place, you are a city set on a hill, you are the salt of the earth, you are His sheep and a citizen in heaven, hidden in Christ in God. Glory!!!! You are protected from the evil one and kept by the power of God. You are secure in Christ, set on a rock, more than a conqueror, and you are born again. You are a victor, healed by His stripes, covered by His blood, sheltered by His wing and hidden in His secret place. Church, praise Jesus!! Come on, give Him praise. In Jesus, you have access to the Father, a home in heaven, you have all things in Christ, a living hope, an anchor to your soul, a hope sure and steadfast, authority to tread on serpents, have power to witness and the tongue of the learned. You have the mind of Christ and the boldness and access. You have peace with God and faith like a mustard seed. Is the Holy Spirit talking to anyone? In Christ you can do all things, find mercy, come boldly to His throne, quench the fiery darts from the enemy, declare liberty to the captives, pray always, defeat and overcome the enemy. Thank you Jesus. You, In Christ are royalty of God, and rooted and grounded in Him. Friends, these words are not mine, but from passages in God's Word. When we take the time to open it and read and study from God's Word, we start speaking these promises out. They are not just head knowledge but sealed in our hearts. I pray these things spoke to your spirit and that each of us understand just who we are in Christ and Who He is in us. Praise God. Heavenly Father, I have put my hope in You. In You alone we find everything and You Lord make everything possible. Lord, I thank You for the absolute truthfulness of Your Word. I rely on Your promises in Scripture concerning my future eternal home. Lord God, help us as we deal with what Your Word says “our light and momentary troubles” and to recognize that they are “achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.” Today “we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” Jesus, You came to earth as God in flesh. You died and rose again and now sit at the right side of God. You are alive and we praise You and ask this prayer in Your name. Amen. Friends, I pray you listen to the message at the end of this song. Love and blessings, Jim Heavenly Father, we can find a time in out Bibles where you said "I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none". Lord we desire to remain faithful to You all the days of our life. We join with others of the Christian faith who hold unswervingly to the hope we profess even as we spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Disappointments, seemingly unanswered prayers, loved ones who oppose us, spiritual lethargy, temptations and trials pull at our hearts and tempt us to look back just like the Israelites who were freed from slavery. They who greatly rejoiced at their new found freedom found themselves longing to return after the going got tough. Give us strength and firm resolve to plow through the hard soil and bumpy rocks of life all the while fixing our eyes on our eternal dwelling place as we hold unswervingly to the hope we profess in Christ Jesus our Lord. It is in His name that we pray. Amen.
Heavenly Father, I thank you for working in my heart and continuing to help and show me love. You teach us that we are to love one another unreservedly. That was tough for me, but because of Your love and patience with me and because I yearn to be in Your Word to learn Your ways, my feelings towards people and my actions have changed. The love You give us for others goes beyond our own natural inclinations. It is a love that motivates us to give without expecting anything in return. More often than not we fall short of extending this kind of love to our spouse and other loved ones. Only with Your continued help can we set aside our own expectations and learn to love the way You intend by always protecting, always trusting, always hoping, and always persevering with those You’ve brought into our lives. Thank You Jesus for Your love and in Your name I pray. Amen Heavenly Father, I praise the name of Jesus who is my King, my Lord and my Savoir. Lord, we are grateful that Jesus is the High Priest who hears our prayers, knows of our troubles and intercedes on our behalf. But there are times when we are in need of the compassion of a caring friend; one who will pray, listen, lend support, and interject thoughts, experiences or suggestions that help us to bear our troublesome burdens. Instead of casting judgment like Lot's three friends, they speak to our need, whether it’s emotional, spiritual, financial or physical. Thank you for caring friends who bear with us, lift us up out of despair, and help us discover solutions that we, by ourselves, cannot find. Help me to be that kind of friend to all I meet and I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen. Heavenly Father, I thank You for all Your creation. In all You created, there is a plan because You are all knowing. Lord, we thank You for sending Jesus who came as God in the flesh, revealing to us Your character and person hood. You, created all things and sustain them by Your powerful hand. That includes us, Your human creation. All that You created You also test. The plant life has tests of stress and endurance in the harsh elements and we, Your human creation, must endure the tests of endurance common to the flesh; whether it is relational, physical, spiritual, emotional or financial. We will endure these tests and turn them into a testimony as we rely on You, for “You will accomplish what concerns me; for You are my sustainer”. You existed before anything else and You hold all creation together. We are immensely grateful. Praise Jesus and in His name I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, as for me and my house, we will serve You and are willing vessels to whatever and wherever you may take us. Lord, we ask for guidance and protection for those that are missionaries and especially for those in very dangerous parts of the world. Lord, we thank You for those who go to the uttermost parts of the world and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ, making known the “unknown God” to the people of that land. From the very beginning You created a hunger within our hearts to serve you, but far too many misfeed that hunger and instead “worship gold, silver or stone, images from by the art and thoughts of man”. Instead we are to feed that hunger by loving You with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. As we draw near to You, You promise to draw near to us. We are grateful for the wooing of the Holy Spirit that convicts us our sin and reveals Your great love to us. Thank You for making Yourself known to us in Your Word as we immerse ourselves in Your truths. Lord I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen. Heavenly Father, You are everything good to my soul and in You I put all of my trust. Lord, it is under Your wings that we find You to be a refuge in sorrow! How our heart yearningly turns to Your rest! Often when earth has no balm for our healing, there we find comfort and there we are blessed. Under Your wings, there is precious enjoyment! There we will hide till life’s trials are over; sheltered, protected, no evil can harm us, resting in Jesus we are safe evermore. Under Your wings our souls shall abide, safely abide forever. W praise You Jesus and in Your name we ask. Amen. Heavenly Father, help us to be the person You created us to be. Lord, so many are trying to be like someone else. Please help us Lord, to be slow to speak, quick to listen, and eager to give the benefit of the doubt to others. We often jump to conclusions that are erroneous due to our own preconceived ideas or based on past experiences. Give each of us an understanding heart, a forgiving attitude, and a discerning spirit as we relate to those who intersect our paths from day to day. In the name of Jesus we thank and ask. Amen. |
