Heavenly Father, we know that the reason Jesus Christ, (The Anointed One) came into the the world not to be a great teacher and reformer, but to die as a ransom for sinners of whom there are two classes—the sinner who thinks himself righteous (as did Paul before converted) and the sinner who feels himself a sinner. Father God, You are immortal, invisible, God only wise. All of creation is subject to Your authority so we, along with millions of other committed believers, choose to bow our knee and lift our hands toward You, our blessed and only Ruler, the king of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal. You live in unapproachable light, but we can and do worship You in Spirit and in truth. We worship and honor You in this life and will do through the eons of time. Thank You Jesus, for coming into this world as You did and dying as You did for my sins and the sins of the world. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus name I pray. Amen!

Brother Jim, thank you for this prayer. As I was praying along. I have to bring a testimony. You talk about being self-righteous and religious. That fit me to a T. I was so self-righteous before I got Saved. I was so proud of myself in believing I was right with the Lord. One of the problem was, I couldn't really understand the Bible. My self righteousness kept me blind to the Word of God. The Lord had to leave me in a place where I had my back against the wall, in no where to turn. When I seen my older brother, George. He was completely change from the life he use to be. Before he wouldn't step inside to church. But, now he was talking about the Miracles the Lord had done for him. You could not keep him away in having church. What really got my attention, was not the Miracles. It was the change life he had. You could see the Peace and Joy he had, He invited to go to the Full Gospel Business Mens Breakfast. That was the day, that I got Saved. Reading the Bible, I just couldn't put it down. Glory to God!!!
