Heavenly Father, thank You for creating in me a compassionate heart for others and for Your Word that helps me to learn Kingdom dynamics. Lord we are to be not only hearers of Your Word, but doers also. Lord, encourage others to learn kingdom principles that Jesus taught and modeled such as, “It is more blessed to give than to receive” Lord, I know this to be true when we give ourselves fully to the work of the Gospel, encouraging and spurring one another on toward growth in Christ and the good deeds that follow. When we share with others and invest in their lives, we find ourselves mutually blessed, encouraged and built up in the faith as Christ is at work in our hearts. Let us not only be soul winners, but also help disciple those that come to know You. Lord we give you all the glory, in Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, for many it is hard to fathom the world and everything in it and to work perfectly was created by You speaking them out. Lord, it is part of our faith walk. "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." You are Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. Everything within the universe was formed and is sustained by Your command. We are awestruck at Your design and grateful for the ways it benefits us every moment of every day. You are our Rock; Your ways are perfect, and You are perfectly faithful! We give thanks to You today, faithful God, for Your great work in our lives and in Your wonders formed long ago; for our benefit, our enjoyment and as a reminder of how dependent we are on Your faithfulness and goodness. We ask and thank You Lord in the precious name of Jesus. Amen. Heavenly Father, even though we read in Romans 12:2 "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.", we see many denominations doing just the opposite. Lord as the slide to decadence deepens, we see the influence it has on the Christian church at large. Fearing rejection and mockery from the world or appearing as unsuccessful in the eyes of the world, many church leaders become accepting of the current philosophies and lifestyles prominent in our day, rather than holding to the unchanging standards prescribed through Your commands in Scripture. In the gray areas, help us to be gracious. But in the black and white commands of Scripture help us to be brave, strong and unambiguous in our position and consistent in our example as permissiveness, false prophesies, and weakened leaders dot the landscape. When seekers want the timeless truth of Scriptures rather than the changing truth of our times we will be prepared to guide them to Your eternal truths. Keep us faithful in doing so. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, I come to You in the precious name of Jesus, my Lord and my Savior. Lord, as believers, we are watching for the return of Christ. We cast aside behaviors and attitudes that distract our minds or weigh our hearts down with the cares and mindset of this world; otherwise we will be caught off guard and fall into the enemy’s trap. We want to be sober, vigilant, and living in anticipation for that glorious day when the redeemed will be caught up in the air to meet Jesus. And so we will be with You forevermore. In Jesus name. Amen. Heavenly Father, You alone are worthy to be praised. Jesus, You are Lord of our lives and our all. You are our Savior and Redeemer from evil. You are our Grace and Salvation in heaven. Lord, we do extol Your work and praise You with our lips, with our voice and with our devotion to follow You all the days of our lives. We stop and consider Your great wonders and mighty works as we acknowledge You to be the Creator of all things. Your ways are perfect and beyond human understanding. It is all the more reason why we must rely on Your guidance and not lean on our own understanding. Today we acknowledge You in all our ways and ask You to direct our paths and increase our understanding in the name of Jesus. Amen. Heavenly Father, I thank You for pointing me to scripture this morning in the book of proverbs. "Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things." Lord,You have called us to a journey of faith where we learn to trust You for all that we have need of, for the present and the future – in our relationships, our health, our earthly provisions and our spiritual needs. Like the songwriter, Louisa Stead, wrote; “I’m so glad I learned to trust You, precious Jesus, Savior, Friend; For I know that You are with me; Will be with me to the end. Jesus, Jesus How I trust You, How I’ve proved You o’er and o’er; Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus, O for grace to trust You more.” Help us to find the sweetness of wholeheartedly trusting in You, we pray in Jesus name. Amen. Heavenly Father, even when I am old and gray, do not abandon me, O God. Let me live to tell the people of this age what your strength has accomplished, to tell about your power to all who will come. Lord, as we march onward to Zion and uphold the Biblical view of righteous living, we are often mocked or dismissed as a radical bunch of Jesus followers. But we know that it is the righteous remnant who restrain Your wrath in the midst of the flood of evildoers. You are not willing that any should perish, but that all should turn to salvation. You didn’t send Jesus to earth to condemn the world but to provide redemption for all who believe upon Your name. We do believe and respond by walking in the ways of righteousness. It is by grace that we are saved, so we give You thanks through Christ Jesus our Lord in whose name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, how great and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity. Lord, You who created the heavens and the earth; You who created Jacob, and formed Israel have also chosen to redeem us. You even call us by Your name as we, Your redeemed, are children of the King. We are joint heirs with You through no goodness of our own or merits that we’ve earned, but only through the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus, who gave His life that we might have forgiveness of sins and become Your children. We are abundantly grateful for such mercy and grace. I praise You Jesus and I ask this prayer in Your Holy and precious name. Amen. Heavenly Father, since we were born on earth it is all we’ve known since birth, far too often we consider this earth our permanent dwelling. But the prophet Isaiah gives us a true perspective of our transient life when he writes, “The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the Word of the Lord endures forever.” Help us to lift our eyes to the heavens and place our affections on the eternal truths of Your Word. We, as Your redeemed children, desire to be faithful and stay the course as we walk this pilgrim pathway watching expectantly and longing for Your soon return. In Jesus name we ask and pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, I come to You in the mighty name of Jesus, my Savior, my Redeemer my Comforter, my everything, and my friend. Jesus calls me His friend. Jesus, Your death on the cross was an act of barbaric cruelty that we would not, in any way, be physically attracted to. But we realize it was God’s redemption plan for all humankind. Because You willingly took the weight of our sins upon Yourself it provided a precious cleansing fountain, a healing stream that flows from Your saving blood providing forgiveness for our sins. Such amazing sacrifice demands my soul, my life, my all. Lord, we thank You for making us joint heirs together with the family of believers in this wonderful eternal inheritance that can never perish, spoil, or fade kept in heaven for us. We gratefully claim this inheritance and await the appointed date when we will experience in full the blessings it provides for us. Troubles in this life diminish our hope, but rejoicing in the life yet to be revealed gives us a living hope! Help us to fix our present hope on the future return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in whose name we pray. Amen. |
