Heavenly Father, I want to be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, fruitful in every season of my life. I don’t want to wither during the winter season as I grow old and more feeble. Though I may be more dormant I can still hold fast to the profession of my faith and not let it fade over time. I can do that by living a life above reproach, clinging to Your promises, immersing myself in the Scriptures and prayer, and trusting You for all that concerns me in every season of my life, knowing that You will provide for all my needs. Like a tree receives health by drawing from its water supply I remain spiritually healthy by drinking from the springs of living water. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father, far too many live in a state of discontent where we find ourselves loving things and using people. It distorts our priorities and gives us temporary excitement with things, but leaves us with long-term dissatisfaction in ourselves and our relationships. Help us to enjoy and make useful material things but to place a higher value on greater pursuits such as growing friendships, solid marriage relations, growing godly character, giving without receiving and other worthy goals. We will be content as we rejoice in the fact that whether we are in want or whether we have plenty You have promised that You will never leave us nor forsake us. What a treasured promise for the believer both in times of need and in times of prosperity. We are content when we realize our all-sufficiency is in You, Lord. You will meet all our needs according to Your riches in glory. And we thank you for that other well-known Friday when Jesus died on the cross for our sins. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, as we give praise to You we are offering our heartfelt thanks for who You are and all that You do on our behalf. As we mature in our Christian walk we realize that there are many occasions when we must offer a sacrifice of praise since it doesn’t always come easily nor often enough. It is in those circumstances that we willfully choose to praise You out of obedient hearts desirous of pleasing You and glorifying Your name. Lord I pray that as we celebrate Thanksgiving here in the US, we remember where and how Thanksgiving came to being. Lord I also pray that those that have follow this ministry spend each day with a thankful heart. Lord, thank You for what You’ve done in my life and what You’ve delivered me from. I thank You that You’ve sent Your Spirit Who’s always here to guide me and comfort me. I’ve committed my life to you, to be a vessel that You can pour through. I ask You to use me to further Your Kingdom. Lord I pray that our words be fruitful and our thoughts praiseworthy in the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, You have given me many treasures that cannot be bought with money and friendship is among them. I thank You for the special friends who brighten my outlook and challenge me to be a better person. Thank You for my caring friend who loves me and never gives up on me even when I feel like giving up on myself. For that dear friend who comes alongside me and helps carry the burdens that I bear, I am especially thankful. My life is enriched and my spirit is refreshed as I share my heart with a close friend who does not criticize but accepts my frailties; who prays for me and expresses love for me in ways that build me up and strengthen me in the trials of life. Father, You are the greatest and most trusting Friend that I will ever know so help me to draw near to You so that You draw near to me. In Jesus name I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, we pray that we will continue to mature in our Christian walk. Scripture, repeatedly, indicates that spiritual maturity is a result of enduring trials of various kinds. In the midst of these trials Your faithful promptings and guidance through Scripture, other believers, and the circumstances we face can be ignored or silenced when self gets in the way. Today we make every effort to add to our faith those characteristics that will sustain and grow us in our Christian walk. In doing so we will be effective and productive in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, during times of ease but even more so during times of difficulty. Keep us faithful and growing, and expressing thanks in everything, according to the Scripture, “In all things give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward You.” In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, in thanksgiving we lift our voices of praise from grateful hearts, as we sing songs of praise and adoration to You, our blessed King. Whether in seasons of prosperity or in seasons of want we find Your grace sufficient to meet each one of our needs. You guide us, protect us, and You provide for us as we journey here below. Every good and perfect gift comes from Your hand. Thank You, faithful Father. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, I pray for an attitude of thankfulness like Paul wrote about where I give thanks in everything. In doing so I deliberately look for the blessings right in the midst of a trial and see beauty where once there was ashes. You also help me to see the everyday blessings others bring to my life in ways that I would otherwise lack; the postman who delivers my mail; the garbage collector who picks up my trash; the employer who provides a paycheck; the medical team that responds to my critical need; the church family that provides loving support during a time of crisis; the faithful family member that keeps vigil until the loved one passes from here to glory. All of these and so much more make up the everyday events of life that make living more loving and memories more lasting. May we be grateful instead of grumbling, givers instead of takers, loving instead of indifferent, and thankful to those who make a positive contribution to our daily living. Thank You Jesus and in Your mighty name I pray. Amen Heavenly Father, we are quickly approaching the day celebrated here in the Us as Thanksgiving. Lord, everyday should be spent in in thanksgiving for Who You are and what You have done. We lift our voices of praise from grateful hearts, as we sing songs of praise and adoration to You, our blessed King. Whether in seasons of prosperity or in seasons of want we find Your grace sufficient to meet each one of our needs. You guide us, protect us, and You provide for us as we journey here below. Every good and perfect gift comes from Your hand. Thank You, faithful Father! In Jesus name we ask and thank. Amen. Heavenly Father, we can read in the book of Psalms where You assure us that You provide food to those who fear You, to those who remember Your covenant. Moses admonished the Israelites to follow Your commands so that You would give them rain for their land in its season, the early rain for germination and the latter rain that grows and strengthens the plants. Through all generations You have supplied for all our needs and poured out Your abundance on us. We thank You for it through Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen. Heavenly Father, just as You blessed the human race making them fruitful and multiplying their kind, You also blessed the vegetation, the fish, fowl of the air and every living thing that moves upon the face of the earth. You gave the human race universal charge of everything you made, putting all things within our authority; including the tilling of the land, making it subservient to our usage and for our good. May we honor You by being good stewards of that which is entrusted to us. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. |
