Heavenly Father, You are before all things and You hold all things together. Without Your sovereign power at work, in the universe and in our lives, we would be without hope and without existence. I’m so thankful that You delight in Your creation, You even rejoice over us with singing. You sustain all things by Your powerful Word and You accomplish that which concerns me, for You are my great sustainer. Thank You faithful, holy and righteous One. In the name of Yeshua I pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, everything in all Your creation cries out concerning Your invisible qualities—Your eternal power and divine nature. We are blessed beyond measure by Your handiwork, and Your invisible power that sustains us and empowers us to walk in victory day after day. Your power is constant and there is no diminishment over time. On Your appointed day when we enter the portals of heaven, we will see so much more of Your creative power that is hidden from view on this side of eternity. Keep us faithful and respectful of Your almighty power that reigns in heaven and on earth. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, we do not want to be overcome by evil but we want to overcome evil with good, as described in Scripture. And the way we do this is to absorb, maintain, and uphold the Scriptural understanding of good and evil. We pray against authorities, personalities, and persuasive rhetoric that tempt us to compromise or water down the truths we learn from Scripture. The contrasts of light vs. darkness, good vs. evil, the spiritual nature vs. the sinful nature are abundant in Scripture. May the guiding light by which we live our lives in these evil days be the light of Your Holy Word. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, we are influenced by many forces that seek to weaken or destroy our relationship with You. But we resolve to draw ever nearer to the One who makes life worthwhile. Your loving-kindness is even better than life, therefore we praise You; we lift up our hands in Your name for You have been our help, our salvation. May my soul follow hard after You as Your right hand upholds me day in and day out through Christ Jesus our Lord in whose name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, You want us to have peace instead of fear. Therefore You speak to our hearts many times, “Fear not” and give us many reasons why we are not to be fearful people. The most compelling reason that we need not fear is that You promise never to leave us nor forsake us. You are our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble. So we ask that You embolden us and fill our hearts with courage in place of fear. As someone once said, “Courage is fear that has said its prayers.” Our fear is banished by courage because we have prayed to the all-knowing and all-protecting God of the universe who is altogether trustworthy. Thank You Yeshua and in Your name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, Your Word says: Proverbs 18:12 KJV Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour is humility. I wholeheartedly acknowledge before others all that I have, all that I am and all that I ever hope to be I owe to You. Help me to always remember the destructive nature of pride. You are a gracious and generous Father who deserves all the praise, glory and honor due Your name. Today I humbly proclaim You to be my Lord and Master. Amen Heavenly Father, in the Scriptures we know that obedience brings blessing and disobedience bring discipline and eventual judgment. The writer of Hebrews tells us that You are treating us as Your children when we undergo discipline, that You are showing Your love to us. You want to bless us and make us a blessing as we live out our lives here on earth. Therefore You convict us of that which dishonors You and the kingdom of God. Your desire is that we enter the eternal dwelling place You are preparing for those who walk in Your ways. With the help of the Holy Spirit we will not turn away from conviction of sin, but instead we will turn away from that which is sin. Enable us to do so in the powerful name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, we want to follow Christ’s example who made Himself nothing, taking on the very nature of a servant. He reached out to the rich, the poor, the powerful and powerless, the young and old, the weak and strong. Though their needs varied that could only be met through Christ each of them needed a relationship with You, our Father, and that is true of every generation no matter our ethnicity, our wealth or lack thereof, our educational background or any other factor. We have opportunity to impact people from all walks of life so we ask You to guide us to them as we give ourselves in ministry and service to others who desire to follow Christ. It is in His name that we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, we thank You for Jesus, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. He took away our sins through His shed blood on the cross. At thirty three years of age He completed the mission for which He came to earth, when He walked the Via Dolorosa all the way to Calvary where He would lay down His innocent life for the guilty sins of mankind. He did this because of His redeeming love for the human race. We know Who, how, where and why Jesus gave His all that we might be pardoned of our sin and receive forgiveness with the tremendous benefit of eternal life in heaven. Words are inadequate to express our gratitude for such wondrous, selfless, and redemptive love seen through Christ Jesus our Lord, so we express it in more than just words but with our very lives; for love so amazing, so divine demands my soul, my life, my all. Amen. Heavenly Father, as we read about Moses we learn a great deal from his act of obedience. His choice to deny himself the enjoyment of the pleasures of sin for a season was foundational to his life. It also provides an example and Biblical foundation for our lives. We’ve gained so much from the spiritual truths taught through Moses’ applied wisdom, his discipline, and his obedience in recording Your truths and principles. Help us not to partake of the forbidden fruit that litters the path of life however attractive and pleasurable it may be. Help us to keep our eyes on the eternal pleasures that await us as we walk in obedience to You. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. |
