Heavenly Father, You gave first and foremost as you selflessly gave of Yourself through the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus humbled Himself in suffering and death for us, not only to satisfy Your justice, but to set us an example that we might follow His steps—bearing a resemblance to His life, since we have profited by His death. Father God, Your gift of grace defies human description, for the far-reaching effects in our lives is truly indescribable. It’s too wonderful for words, but it brings unspeakable joy and glorious hope that makes our spiritual journey so worthwhile. We receive Your indescribable gift that brings forgiveness for our sins and reserves for us a home in heaven for all eternity. Thank You, Father and in the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, thank You for Creating us, loving us and we thank You for Jesus who came to this earth as a tiny baby with a mission to die on the Cross as a sacrifice for our sins to reconcile us to You. Not only are we forgiven and reconciled to You, but we also are made joint heirs taking on our new identity as “children of God.” What an incredible honor and selfless act of love that You would place us in Your Kingdom whose reign is for all eternity. This is the wonder of Your great love for all and the other wonder is that it is imparted to me personally. I can express agape’ love to others because Jesus modeled it, taught it through Scripture, and the Holy Spirit graciously provides it through us as we lay down our own preference in deference to Your perfect will! May we live the Christmas story everyday as we serve others above ourselves through Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen. Heavenly Father, as we take time to reflect on how Jesus came into the world, It was certainly not a welcome setting for the infant born King, Lord, we know and we’re so thankful for Jesus whose infant birth took place in a smelly stable and whose bed was a feeding trough padded with stubbly straw and hay and we can see the stable as a composite of this unwelcoming world toward King Jesus.A I read from the 53 chapter of Isaiah, we see that some 700 years before Jesus was born, how the world would react to this King. We’re so glad that He was willing to come to earth though He would be rejected by the majority. Yet we gratefully number among the many who receive Him as our personal Savior. We thank You that He came to deliver us from our fears and to release us from our sins. Through Your own eternal Spirit rule in our hearts today and raise us to Your glorious throne on Your appointed day. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, when I look at Jesus on the cross I see a message Paid In Full on the loving hands and feet of our Lord Jesus Christ who gave His all that we could be fully pardoned. We accept this marvelous provision though it is incomprehensible by our finite minds to fully grasp. So many refuse Christ’s substitutionary death and continue to bemoan their pitiful plight in life, wallowing in their dismal existence. But for those of us who accept Christ’s full pardon we enjoy an abundant life, freed from the guilt of our past, and unfearful of our future. Our reservations for the New Jerusalem were secured upon our acceptance of Your free gift of salvation. It’s a win/win situation for all who forsake their sinful life and take up the cross of Jesus. We will still be praising You and giving thanks one million years from now, for never has there been such a gift offered by human hand. It’s because of Jesus and Your amazing grace that we have access to the throne. Thank You Jesus and in You precios name we ask and thank. Amen. Heavenly Father, our hearts are heavy when we awaken each day with widespread evil, whether it’s in our region of the world or in a distant land like Afghanistan, Pakistan, Syria, India, parts of Africa and the many other places throughout the world where thousands are dying daily. Lord we see county leaders who continually pass laws that chip away of Biblical morals and godly princaples that we as Christians hold onto. A great restraint sweeping across the globe. Here in the Us and all over the world, there is a great need of a Savior. Though the majority reject Your answer for our sin problem, how grateful that Jesus still came, for He lives within the hearts of those who see their need and receive His forgiveness. In the midst of the prevailing darkness, like Longfellow, we declare that You are not dead and You do not sleep. You are the true living God and you sit on Your throne and do what what You please. Darkness is a temporary state, but Yours is an everlasting light. The hopes and fears of all the years are met in Thee, O God of light! Help us, in the midst of our own despair, to hear the bells. In the Mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Son Jesus, our Savior. Jesus, in the fullness of time was brought into the world according to divine counsels. Although born amid the meanest circumstances, His humiliation was attended by discoveries of His glory and His coming was announced as glad tidings to all people. From His childhood days He showed forth some of the rays of His glory in the divine wisdom which He manifested. The message conveyed by the angels was heard by the shepherds and rings out for all generations. Multiple circumstances can frighten us causing us to lose hold of the assurance that You watch over and care for us. We need not fear the terror of night nor the arrow that flies by day, moving swiftly, coming suddenly, and striking when we least expect it. Though trials assail us they will not engulf us, for we overcome the enemy of fear through the word of our testimony. Jesus overcame the enemies of hatred, persecution, suffering and death and rose victorious over the grave. May the same resurrected power of Jesus subside our fears and doubts and build our faith and trust in the Holy One of Israel. In the precious name of Jesus. Amen. Heavenly Father, Your love for us is more than we can imagine with human minds. As we read in the Gospels of Jesus birth, we see Your love comes like a light in the darkness, like the bright star in the east that burst forth in the Bethlehem skies. The hosts of heaven made it a song of joy and celebration as Jesus was born into the world, the Saviour for all mankind. In the darkness of night the light of Christ appeared drawing people near and far, then and now. Love enters the hearts of many as they contemplate the message of Christmas, that it is a message of love and provision; love for all and provision for our sins. Love has come to us; love that brightens our lives and fills us with hope now and for all eternity. And at the same time there are many who are drawn to darkness like King Herod who sought to destroy the Christ child. We don’t understand such thinking once we come into the light, but it was a reality then as it is now. Thank You for the freedom to choose, and Lord, we choose You! As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. In the precious name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, we know in Your Word it says "without faith we cannot please You. Help us Lord, to have the kind of faith prescribed in Hebrews 11:1 where “Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” It is the kind of faith that is triumphant in the worst of circumstances because our faith in Christ is the victory that overcomes the world. We will not be overcome by life’s circumstances but we will overcome by the blood of the Lamb. Praise God! Thank You Lord. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, everyday when I spend time in Your Word I read of Your Love and Your righteousness. You are my protection. You are my light in darkness. Father, You are my joy in time of sorrow. You are the Great I Am. All through our Bibles, we can see Your supernatural workings and I have witnessed Your powers over the years as I have seen miracles of Your healing and saving power in the lives of others. I have seen You completely change ones life around when they put their trust in You.. Lord God, we’ve also experienced it personally as You’ve saved us from our sins and set us on an eternal journey of giving praise and thanksgiving to You for all Your wondrous works. When we lose sight of Your miraculous deeds in the daily grind of life and in the circumstances that baffle or discourage us help us to remember that You are a God of the impossible, nothing is too complex or broken that You cannot fix. You delight in us as we put our hope in Your unfailing love and miraculous power. Father, we give thanks to You through Jesus, our Good Shepard who knows us by name and in whose name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, as I go about my day, I will meet and have conversations with many people Lord what I have learned from you is the friendship and fellowship together of fellow servants in the Lord, is a great refreshment under the sufferings and difficulties in the way. It adds much to the beauty and strength of the Gospel ministry when Christ’s servants are loving and condescending towards one another. Lord, I pray that You guide us to speak as we ought to speak and that doors of utterance may be opened. Father God, we’re told to do everything without complaining or arguing, so that we shine like stars in the universe. We know that people are drawn to light where brightness is present and warmth is extended. Help our conversation to be full of grace, tenderness, light, and truth so that we will positively affect those around us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen. |
