Heavenly Father, thank You for loving us and wanting good things for our lives. Lord, as I meet people in my community and the thousands on-line, often through conversations, I don't hear peace and contentment in their voices. I sense many aren't trusting You fully as they should. Lord, as we examine the emotional pain of our lives, when it seems as though You’ve forgotten about us, we often start out with the question of “Why?” But in hindsight we realize that those struggles taught us practical truths that we could not learn overnight but over time, and that there truly was purpose in our pain and in Your timing. Help us to model integrity and steadfastness in the midst of the severe struggles and sweeping storms of life. Your eternal purpose is greater than our temporal pain. Remind us that it may not just be for our own instruction but for others looking on who may learn from our difficult experiences. In Jesus name. Amen.

Heavenly Father, thank You for loving us and being a good Father. Lord, as we go our journey in You, may our lives be marked by faithfulness and integrity. These character traits are not developed over a short period of time, but rather over one’s lifetime. Help us not to become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. For some of us that harvest will not come until we reach the other side. So help us not to give up, if we don’t see it here, for the great and eternal harvest is yet to come. Remembering that truth helps us to be more committed to remaining faithful to the very end. May it be said of us; He is a faithful man or she is a faithful woman. All glory be to God. In Jesus name we ask and pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, as I get older, it seems like more and more people have turned away from You. I also notice that peoples actions and the things that come out of their mouths are different. I don't see families sticking together, or neighbors helping other neighbors It seems just the opposite. Lord, you have called us to live at peace with all people, in as much as it is possible. As people of free will we cannot force reconciliation but we can facilitate reconciliation. Help us to lay aside pride, prejudice, procrastination and preconceived ideas of the outcome so that we take the first step toward reconciliation. We want to trust You to guide us in this most important endeavor as we attempt to live at peace with all people. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen. Heavenly Father, Apostle Paul being led by the Holy Spirit said this: "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God." Lord, help me to store up this vital Scripture today; “a righteous man will be remembered forever.” When I’m tempted to compromise my integrity in exchange for ungodly behavior may this Scripture ring alarm bells in my heart and mind. Let its truth persuade me to say “no” to ungodliness and worldly passions and instead to live a self-controlled and godly life in this present age. Your way is the best way and it is the lasting way. Thank You Jesus and I pray this in Your name. Amen. Heavenly Father, I am reminded of what Jesus said in the gospel of John. "I love you just as the Father loves Me; remain in My love. If you obey My commands, you will remain in My love, just as I have obeyed My Father's commands and remain in His love. "I have told you this so that My joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My commandment is this: love one another, just as I love you. The greatest love you can have for your friends is to give your life for them. And you are My friends if you do what I command you." Lord, You have called us to live at peace with all people, in as much as it is possible. Heavenly Father, I thank You for this tool we have called the internet where we can come together and assemble ourselves in fellowship, pray and dig into Your Word. Lord, as you have had me teach, I find so many that have never learned basic Bible principles from churches they have attended most of their lives. Lord, I ask that you stir up many men and women to share your TRUTH and not mans ways. Help us to be patient, but fervent of getting this truth out. Let us share Your truth boldly, but in love. Help each of us to understand the wiles of the devil and to be steadfast in our determination to resist temptation at each step. We want to be self-controlled and alert, standing firm in the faith as we resist the devil who prowls around like a roaring lion seeking for someone to devour. Thank you for the power of the Holy Spirit to resist and to overcome. Thank You Jesus and in Your name I pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, the non believers of Christ are watching us closely. Help us to learn Your commands, apply them to our hearts, and carry them out in our daily actions. Jesus said " And now I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. If you have love for one another, then everyone will know that you are My disciples." Lord, we desire to be obedient to You and to bring our children into a faithful relationship with You as well. We love You with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our strength. May our absolute devotion bring honor to You and witness to others of our fervent commitment to serve You all the days of our lives. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, there is a lot of things we can hear, read and see during the course of a day. There are even things that may sound like they may be from the Bible, but with a twist. Your Word cautions us to test the spirits, to see if they are from You or from the master deceiver. The voices that we choose to hear should always guide our hearts to the Master Shepherd; not to other vices, negative attitudes, or to self-glorification. As we seek after Your heart, we will easily recognize the voice of Jesus our Shepherd and desire to follow Him in all our ways. Thank You Jesus and in Your name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, all through scripture, we see that we of faith need not be afraid to risk our all on the honor of You, Lord. Yes, there will be those that oppose us, but let them that oppose, who talk of the failure of Christianity, do what it does—bring down the consuming, cleansing, illuminating power of You into the lives of men. Hallelujah! Father God, we look to You for hope that renews our faith and restores our strength. In the midst of situations that challenge and weary us, Your power and strength never diminish. You never tire of us coming to You but rather You expect it. The promise of Your strength helps us rise above life’s detours and difficulties. We place our confidence in You, unchanging God, and develop the fruit of patience as we wait on You to fulfill the promises You’ve made in Your Word. Lord, In the precious name of Jesus we ask and pray. Amen. |
