Heavenly Father, You will never leave us nor forsake us. You are closer than any friend can be and I have found, the safest way in which to travel is the way of the upright. A way which You make plain to those who desire to walk in it. We should take heed of deceiving ourselves by resting in that which seems right, but is not really so. Lord, I trust in You Word. Father God, it is during times of discouragement or bewilderment that I find myself more attentive to Your instruction. My heart is more absorbing of the truths You want to convey when I walk in obedience and leave the results to You. Help me to always remember that You are the Teacher and I am the student. I welcome the wisdom of the Master to guide me into all truths, and sustain me in the moments of silence and waiting. I pray this in the Mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father, we know that without faith we cannot please You. The way of faith is the way of victory, peace, assurance, and endurance. Father God, we’re grateful for those throughout history who chose to be men and women of faith, whose hearts were fashioned in Your image, for those who served Your purpose in their generation. We also want to serve Your purpose in our generation. Help us to stay steadfast and strong as we run this race set before us. Thankfully, in this race, we’re not in competition to be the only prizewinner. Instead we take hold of the hands of those who run with us and invite those on the sidelines to join us. We want to cross the finish line together so that we will all receive the grand prize of life eternal with You. Being ourselves made pure by the blood of the Son of Man, it behooves us to make ourselves pure from the blood of the sons of men. May we never give up! In the name of Jesus I ask and thank. Amen. Heavenly Father, some of the strongest arguments against sin are taken from the suffering of Christ. He died to destroy sin, and having submitted to such sufferings on account of sin, why should we grieve Him by continuing in sin? All sympathy with Christ is lost if we do not put away sin.Father God, today I thank you for the blessings I share with my brothers and sisters in Christ all around the world. It’s great to be a part of the family of God, sharing redemption through your Son, Jesus Christ. I pray for my family right now asking You to be a very present help amongst the turmoil from these enduring fiery trials. We pray that many turn to you through this for you are the God of peace. We pray for our brothers and sisters enduring fiery trials whom we’ve never met and probably won’t on this side. But we have a spiritual kinship although our present lives are vastly different. Encourage and strengthen them today. May all who suffer find assurance from the prayers and interest of believers half way around the world. Finally we pray for all suffering through a fiery trial regardless of the nature. May they have eyes of hope and faith to see the glorious truth and “rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy” In the mighty Name of Jesus. Amen. Heavenly Father, we are told to trust in You with all our heart. We are to never rely on what we think we know. We are to remember You in everything we do, and You will show us the right way. I believe and receive that Lord, in faith. Lord, the greatest blessing in trusting You is the confidence we walk in as we look to You for everything that we have need of. Jeremiah draws the contrast of those who depend on humans for strength and have stopped trusting in You. They don’t know about the good things that You can give because they are unwilling to surrender their all to You. But we who have walked across the bridge of salvation chose to place our trust in You. We have found You to be faithful. In place of cringing fear we walk in confident faith because it is not in ourselves that we trust but in the Living God who is trustworthy in all areas of our lives. Now, we ask for grace to trust You even more. Praise You Jesus and in Your name we pray. Amen. Heavenly Father, may we be constantly reminded to be sensitive to You Spirit. Also may You remind us that injuries done to Christians are injuries done to Christ—especially to babes in Christ—weak Christians. Father God, You have called us out as ambassadors for Christ, and in so doing, we make the proclamation of the gospel known not only with our words, but also with our lives. As we approach each new day we’re given a set of challenges. Some that will last only a day but others that will require endurance for years, even a lifetime. The way we deal with those “things” will bring You glory or may be a stumbling block to faith for those who observe. Father, You make Your appeal through us so it is our heart’s desire to trust You in all things – knowing they work together for our good and for the good of the kingdom. Remind us that You are working out Your purpose in our lives so that we will not be consumed with the smoothness of our plans, but rather the unfolding of Your Kingdom plans recognizing and acknowledging that You are good. Through all circumstances God, You are good – period! It is in the name of Jesus that we give You thanks and praise. Amen. Heavenly Father, search my heart and reveal to me the things that need to change. Lord, my desire is to grow more and more in love with You. Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus and in Him, my life has been spared. My chains have been broken. I know the truth and it has set me free. Praise Jesus! Because I have put Him first in my life, I am safe in Him. I know that I need not take anxious thought for the things of this life nor dread even the killing of the body, which can only send me to my rest and eternal joy with You. Lord, as we consider the days of old we see Your faithful hand guiding us along life’s pathway, in our own lives and in the generations that precede us. Your deliverance from our sins, Your provision for our every need and Your guidance for our every step keeps us firmly anchored like a tree planted by streams of water. Keep us steadfast and faithful until we cross over to the Promised Land. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen Heavenly Father, You tell us that fear does not come from You. "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." Lord, that tells me You want us to have peace instead of fear. Therefore You speak to our hearts many times, “Fear not” and give us many reasons why we are not to be fearful people. The most compelling reason that we need not fear is that You promise never to leave us nor forsake us. You are our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble. So we ask that You embolden us and fill our hearts with courage in place of fear. You tell us "Do not be afraid---I am with you! I am your God---let nothing terrify you! I will make you strong and help you; I will protect you and save you. "Jesus said, "I have told you this so that you will have peace by being united to Me. The world will make you suffer. But be brave! I have defeated the world!" Hallelujah! We praise You Lord and in the name of Jesus we thank and pray. Amen Heavenly Father, You are good. For those that call upon Your Son and surrender their live to Him, miracles can happen in their lives if they believe in faith. Hallelujah to the Lamb of God. Father, Your rod and Your staff are a daily comfort to me. I’m comforted in the midst of my suffering because You promise to preserve my life, whether in this life or the next. May Your unfailing love, according to Your promise, be my daily companion and steady comfort. Not only is it a comfort to me but I can also comfort and assure other believers with these promises. Lord, I have searched the scriptures and You promise to heal the sick. Give sight to the blind. We know that you make the lame walk again and with all those that are broken hearted, You are there to comfort them. Your name, Father God, is a strong tower where we can run to and be preserved as we deal with the adversity of this troubled world. We thank You for it in Jesus name. Amen. Heavenly Father, You are good and worthy to be praised. I am thankful for my Savoir who unselfishly died for me to to save me from eternal death. It is He that I now serve rather than this world. Father God, Christ is my Good Shepherd. He has a special care for the lambs that are weak and cannot help themselves, gathering them into the arms of His power and carrying them in the bosom of His love.praise Jesus! Lord, we are encouraged and emboldened when we consider that in everything we experience today You go before us preparing the way. As we fix our gaze on the eternal peace that awaits the faithful believer we can deal with the temporal conflict here and now. We wait upon You in prayer and faith so that we are renewed in our strength emotionally, physically and spiritually. We are thankful that You give strength to the weary and increase the power of the weak. And thank You most especially for Your spiritual renewal that not only meets our needs now but for all eternity. In the Mighty name of Jesus I thank and ask. Amen. Heavenly Father,we thank You for Your son. Lord, with what Jesus said, Jesus is the way—let us follow Him. Jesus is the truth—let us build with confidence upon the precious truths of His comforting promises. Jesus is the life—let us learn to abide in Him, the source of spiritual life, until He comes back to receive us to the prepared mansions above.Praise the Lamb of God. We thank You Father for the Holy Spirit Who comforts us. Father God, it would seem that we would become orphans of the faith when Jesus departed from the earth and ascended into heaven. But You did not leave us comfortless or without guidance. Instead Your Holy Spirit empowers us so that we can effectively proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ through Scriptural teaching and through our godly example. Help us to be faithful in our walk and witness in the mission field You’ve appointed us to. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen. |
